My first car was a 38 Plymouth coupe. It was a rust bucket with a six and 3 on the column. Had a mattress in the back and could sneak 4 people into the Drive in. Paid $75 for it painted lime green with spray cans. I think or a brush never asked. Oh and it had a beer tap handle from a bar for a shift nob.

Has anyone noticed that the price of gasoline keeps going up when the price of oil is at its lowest like $40 a barrel. It has gone up 50cents a gallon here in about a month and a half. It is now at $2.10 It was at $1.60

They claim that's from the "Summer Formulation". BS!

I went to the bone doc yesterday. Waited a month and a half for the appt. When I got there my appt showed 130pm they told me that it was at 1130 which isn't what they told me. They said I could wait but it would be a long one. He had 50 appts yesterday. Now what kind of care could you possibly get when a doc sees 50 people in one day. They said it wasn't urgent and I was not going to sit there till 5pm so I said screw it. They couldn't get me another appt till end of May my leg feels fine so ....e gusess that is $400 he won't get from me which is the average charge for a specialist.

Hard to like that one but, at least your feeling better.

After 4 treatment centers I continued to drink an then about 2 years ago I just stopped. I tried a couple of beers a couple months ago and it made me feel like crap so like the song says I gotta start takin more of it or less of it for me less is a better option. My BP shoots up and my heart rate also when I drink definately not an option.

The only drinking I do these days is when we go for mexican. Can't pass up the margaritas but then I only have one and no not the bathtub one.

All I will say about the back of my Toyota is that the cheap fiberboard panel that covered the inside of the liftgate had numerous holes in it.

Yep... but the price of oil keeps fluctuating. I've seen it go from $40 to $28 and back to $40... with many steps in between over the last several months. Terrible for me, because I work in an oilfield service company and we have almost no work right now. We've had more lay-offs than I can count and none of our jobs are very secure right now. Forecasts are saying that it probably won't get any better until possibly 2018...

I'm right there with ya, Kaezziel! I've been hearing this week that we might not have a job to come back to next week.

The Arabs haven't slowed production at all. One of these days that whole stinkin desert is going to fall into never never land.

They can't afford to. Believe it or not, they're broke!!

Ah, but tonight has been the night from HELL!! At my last count, we have lost power out here at least 20 times tonight. The wind has been horrendous. We haven't had any rain except for the beginning of the week, but the wind was doing a number on the electricity on the island tonight. However, it was also my understanding that 20 miles up the road from us they were having the same problems. It got so bad that I had to walk out to the front gate to get my parts from the truck tonight. There was no power, so we couldn't open the gate. The parts driver had to pass my parts to me under the gate!!

I finally shut my work computer down to try to keep it from frying. Two more days, and then I'm OUTTA here!! The next two nights should be interesting. I will be training the new guy. Didn't I already say that? Oh hell, age is catching up with me.

Sure have been thinkin bout this and hopin things were getting better. sorry to hear they're not. Thought maybe it was a good thing they hired someone new rather than taking someone from another dept or something. Hope the weather calms down.....good luck training the new guy

(((((((((3mg))))))))))) I'm so sorry for what you're going through sweetie! I am very glad he's in a facility that hopefully is a really good one that can help him learn to manage some of his difficulties, and help him beat others! really think you're the one who's protected him all these I know how hard it is to worry about a kid and not be able to get to them. When my son deployed I was a basket case the 1st 3 months til God finally said...... "Do you years???" and "Do you think there is any place in the Universe that he can go, that MY hand can't reach???" Sometimes God has to whack me between the eyes like that to get my attn. Of course I still worried bout him after that, but not nearly as much as before. Does he have access to email so y'all can communicate that way? I got creative in checking on my son......if I hadn't heard from him in awhile.......I'd check his bank acct online......if he'd spent money, I knew he was ok. lol Just know that even when you don't.......God knows exactly how he is and has HIS hand on him.

I once told a police officer in town that my son needs a specialized treatment program for the combination of problems. So finally the judge and a psychologist recommended that I send him to his father. I did not know at the time why but followed through.
But my daughter put some money on his account so he will have enough to send me letters. Although his handwriting is real bad, I can puzzle through it. Maybe they will give him access to a word processor.
Last night I was in such a mood that I laid down to take a nap, hoping I would be better when I woke up. I slept all night on my loveseat. My back hurts.
I just joined a facebook support group for parents of Aspies.
