And unlike budder, margarine won't burn when cooking with it since it's oil based.
Skins on? Yes!I've used margarine rather than butter for so long that I've come to prefer the taste. Regarding trans fats, most spreads, including Country Crock and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, were reformulated about 11 years ago to eliminate or greatly reduce the trans fats. Butter still has cholesterol, a lot of it, while vegetable spreads have none.
Mashed taters: much prefer them with skins left on. Anybody else?
Oh YUM! Crisp? OMG!Tater skins are to be crisp and repacked with smashed taters and topped wid lotsa cheese... fer moi.
Aw heck.....just give me an order of tater skins with lots of melted cheese....please![]()

Yep wasn't that great when you could pull your car over and fill up bottles with fresh spring water. OverpopulationMy opinyun... Back it the day you could walk up to any stream and drink out of it. That's when water actually tasted good. Now all it's good for is causing rust.
I think it started to turn when the lobbyists started running the politicians. Big pharma took over. Big tobacco... banks... health... insurance... and we've been going down hill ever since.
