I've used margarine rather than butter for so long that I've come to prefer the taste. Regarding trans fats, most spreads, including Country Crock and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, were reformulated about 11 years ago to eliminate or greatly reduce the trans fats. Butter still has cholesterol, a lot of it, while vegetable spreads have none.

Mashed taters: much prefer them with skins left on. Anybody else?
Skins on? Yes!

Yep Bigbells. Lets go back to when slavery was legal? When we tried to kill all the Indians? When Polio or other killer diseases were somewhat rampant? When Childhood mortality was an accepted norm? When many died at a fairly early age from heart conditions that are now easily fixable with a stent or such? Or even when you were lucky to get 75,000 miles out of a new vehicle?

IMO I think we grew up in the best times. All the things I did as a kid and saw the kids nowadays will never get a chance to experience. Like camping in places where you could pick oysters right off the rocks or dig clams and have a big pot of steamers by a campfire. Seeing the Yukon territory before it became commercialized. I could go on and on.

My opinyun... Back it the day you could walk up to any stream and drink out of it. That's when water actually tasted good. Now all it's good for is causing rust.
I think it started to turn when the lobbyists started running the politicians. Big pharma took over. Big tobacco... banks... health... insurance... and we've been going down hill ever since.

I watched a documentary yesterday about how the biggest polution problem on the earth today is the raising, feeding, and giving water to livestock. It was amazing they were saying that all the forests that are being cut down to grow feed for livestock and the CO2 that was produced by them and polluting the water. They said if they used the crops to feed people there would be no famine in the world and one fact that was amazing to me was the population in 1812 was 1bil in 1912 1.5bil and in 2012 7bil. Wow.

Yep wasn't that great when you could pull your car over and fill up bottles with fresh spring water. Overpopulation

I haven't messed with my paintball stuff in over a year and haven't been on the forms for about as long, yet I've gotten 2 pm's this month about stuff I'd posted for sale back then. These people are really going way back to find posts then ask If I still have this stuff. Sadly I do. Maybe they'll buy it and I can start getting rid of this stuff.
