If you look at it like a circle, genius and idiot are right next to each other, I think He tended toward brilliant and insightful and had a great scene of humor. A great commentator on life. Deja vu all over again.

I'm a confessed ol' time ol' timers baseball freak. Must say dat Yogi has always been my most beloved baseball icon! He was da most prolific non-strike hitter I've ever seen. That's not counting his hustle (a must in my mind), catchin' and management abilities! He was an honest, earnest, talented and intelligent man dat didn't feather his own ego. Plus, he had no enemies.

Oh, how I wish I kept my ol' Gillette 'flip book' dat featured Yogi giving signals, even though I wore dat puppy slap dab out!

To quote George Carlin... Vu Jade... The absolute, positive feeling we ain't never done this s..t before. I had a whole career like that. My Navy life was unique. Sometime I'll tell some of you a few stories. Maybe at the Odyssey.

Yiddle, do not forget to note this - another story line promise has been made...

I hope it gets you what ya need, just watch yer nose.
And your eyes!
That cracked me up Iffy ... there are a "worn out" things I wish I still had
Me too.

After leaving the house at 0 dark thirty this morning (6:30 am) we lost about 4 hrs travel time up I77 in So Carolina with rain, accidents (fortunately we were not involved in any of them!) and general traffic. Did not get near as far as we wanted to, and in the middle of the last traffic jam poor little Geordi barfed in his crate. Finally settled into a motel in Statesville, NC around 7:30 pm. We are all exhausted, stressed, and finally unwinding. Gonna be a long day tomorrow, but hopefully the weather and traffic will cooperate.

Mashed taters: much prefer them with skins left on. Anybody else?
newp, I like basically whipped taters, real creamy. If I do stiffer taters, then I like to leave the skinds on, but basically agree with Johnny on the crispy tater skins. Love the salt crusted baked taters!!

And BACON BITS!!! And sour cream!! And scallions!! Yummm!
Jup........this one wins!!

1/3/1947 - 1/19/2009...

Purdy certain of the first date.......what's the second one?

Maybe they'll buy it and I can start getting rid of this stuff.
Jup.......and buy more Reos!

If your into solar/lunar events, This Sunday night there will be a Super Lunar eclipse Around 10 pm. The moon will be full in close orbit with a full ,Red moon, eclipse. Won't be back till 2033. Must see event.
Really hope I can remember this one, I always forget and have never gotten to see one of the super eclipses, specially with a blood moon
When you come to a fork in the road, take it.
supposedly this one came from when he'd give directions to his house, and either fork would get you there.

That cracked me up Iffy ... there are a "worn out" things I wish I still had
Hiya hun!!! Good to see ya!!! How's your hubby doin? I still gotta lotta things that I wish weren't worn out......mostly body parts!

So glad you weren't in any of the accidents. Hope Geordie was better after he got on solid ground and hasn't picked up any bugs.

For information. The lunar eclipse starts at 9:07pm EDT and ends at 12:Something AM EDT. Positive about start time. A little fuzzy about the stop time.

thanks I had meant to ask this and forgot. Yeah I have a LOT of hope of remembering to actually watch it, if I can't even remember to ask a question about WHEN I'm commenting on it!!
