Congratulations to the Gang at Impact Team that hacked the Ashley Madison website and subsequently released the names and info on the registered users .. and frankly, I am insulted by the sob stories emanating from the "exposed" users and their pathetic attempts at self defense and claims they were victims .. really .. ?? .. while infidelity has been with us since probably the Dawn of Civilization, and making money off Web Traffic is certainly nothing new, providing a clearinghouse for those that, er, can actively seek extramarital affairs and relationships while cloaked in what they thought was a "private" marketplace opens up multiple cans of worms. Hey, I know playa gonna play (and that includes both male and female) .. so you're single and looking for a casual fling .. ?? OK, it's two consenting adults .. You're married and trolling for some action .. ?? Shame on you and, guess what .. ?? I'm glad you got caught with your hand in the cookie jar .. and I sincerely hope your Spouse finds out, since they will then know just what a scumbag you are ..
Although I do attempt to somewhat keep up with the
Thread, I'm attempting a Petition of One to rolygate to initiate some sort of filtering system which can be taught to invisibleize key words or phrases and thus cut down on the general, repetitive chatter .. I'm kidding, of course .. or am I .. ??

I ran across an exchange some posts back regarding Todays Music VS The Music That Constituted the Fabric of Our Lives .. Our Lives being those of us that lived and listened through, what I consider to be, the peak of Popular Music .. the 1950's thru the 1970's .. the question being .. what portion of todays material will still be relevant and enjoyed in 40 years .. ?? Sure, there will be some .. however, the sheer magnitude of quality material produced from the 1950's thru the 1970's, IMO, will never, ever be matched .. so, is todays music the equal of yesterdays music .. ?? In some cases, yes .. in most cases, no, because I do not believe the music of today will stand the test of time .. I've seen 15 year olds mouthing along with an early Eagles song .. now that's power .. will we ever again see the likes of a Brian Wilson .. ?? And, BTW, if you have not rented "Love and Mercy" .. please consider giving it a watch .. I consider Wilson to be the Best Producer, Writer, Studio Man, etc that America has ever had .. he has been an inspiration for me for most of my life ..
The last time we faced a Government shutdown (an argument could be made that it's constantly shutdown anyway) .. the topic was outrage over uninsured Americans being offered affordable Health
insurance .. how dare they .. ?? Now, the flap is Planned Parenthood .. unproven allegations being dumped into the media by so-called "sting videos" .. Leading the charge being Ted Cruz, who benefited to the tune of millions of email addresses and about $800,000 in donations from folks that oppose the Affordable Care Act and supported his efforts to keep the government closed during that bru ha ha .. the newest target, Planned Parenthood defunding .. this is nothing more than attempt to repeal a Womens Right To Choose .. by attacking a Health Care provider that provides most of it's work to lower-income, and disproportionately, women of color .. Jeb Bush weighs in : “I’m not sure we need a half a billion dollars for women’s health programs” .. the man that was willing to spend millions to keep one brain dead woman alive for political gain from the Christian Right .. let's forget the good Planned Parenthood has done for women's health in general for many years ..
Lastly .. I've been closely following the Clown Car that is the current "Run for the White House" .. it saddens me to see our system devolve to sound bites and "Who can be the most controversial and thus gain the spotlight for at least a minute" .. I'd like to use Ronald Reagan as my example here, since he gets touted and essentially, worshiped .. I'll call this segment "Reagan Facts that Would Get Him Impeached or at Least Booed off the Debate Stage" by todays "standards"
1) Reagan not only argued against building a border fence, but actually called for an "open border" to allow Mexican workers to come and go as they pleased.
2) Reagan also boasted of being the six-time elected president of his union and still a lifetime member.
3) Reagan vowed to stamp out federal discrimination against women and echoed Martin Luther King in his call for racial justice
4) Reagan bragged about how much California taxpayer money he'd spent on college scholarships
