We need to make attacking the United States so expensive that even a lunatic doesn't want to and drawing a line in the sand during a windstorm isn't the proper response. Tried that and it didn't worked.

Lines do no good when there is no consequence when they are crossed.

And i DON'T see our current administration doing anything more than borrowing money to send to france to hire grief councilors and community organizers, then launching an in depth investigation to determine what france did to anger the islamics and how it should apologize.

I will say no more here, my views on how it should be done would be far, far beyond the scope of any civillized human. However it would stop this nonsense.

It is impossible to fight a civilized war. The way we now "fight a war" will not win a war. We would have to be brutal and consistent. Using our military as a puppet from Washington has not worked. However, I don't think that very many people or politicians would want to fight a war the way we did in WW2. Just my 2¢

Sorry to whomever this offends but I have tried to stay quite.
The way to stop this is to wage a war of total, complete, utter annihilation of every living breathing thing( on a scale far beyond Hiroshima) in the countries that support terrorism. Start with Iran & Syria.

Since my head has begun to clear some from last night, sweeping away the cobwebs from too much drink and the two fine young ladies that kept me up till 1:30 AM ..

The atrocity in France, of which I got caught up on this morning VIA CNN and some of the commentary that's cropped up here ..

I speak as a Veteran and a Patriot ... There are good, law abiding Muslims here in the USA and all over the World .. people that believe in living their lives as best they can, providing for their families, holding down a job, reaching for their dreams .. no different than you or I .. they have not earned, nor do they deserve, to be placed in the same mold as those in a small minority that choose carnage and destruction .. this is racial and Religious bigotry plain and simple from anyone that suggests differently ..

Although it seems to always get overlooked, this is a Religious War .. with roots that go back into the far distant past .. when an event of this magnitude unfolds, there is an outcry, a demand, for some sort of immediate payback .. yet, if we were to somehow eradicate the source, can we deny that the snake would simply grow a new head .. ?? This is a Global issue .. since the Web has provided the voice on a Worldwide scale .. yet, would we advocate a policy such as China in quashing the free flowing exchange of information VIA the very medium we are using now .. ??

How do you stop a Ghost, how do you stop a zealot that is ready, willing and able to sacrifice their own selves for a cause .. ?? How do you change the hearts and minds of a select group .. ?? When, in History, since the end of World War II, have we been able to win .. ?? I came back from a no-win War, our troops in Korea came back from a no win war, our troops in Iraq, our troops in Afghanistan .. Americans sacrificed their lives .. yet, what has fundamentally changed .. ??

I wish I had an answer .. the one thing that I do know is this .. we as a Country cannot be the Police for the Entire World .. nations that exist at the heart of these problems must be willing to do what they feel needs to be done or face continued problems into the future .. and that needs to include education, quality of life and compassion, because the recruitment of zealots comes about thru despair, disenfranchisement and a feeling of lack of power within their daily lives .. it is not thru force in the Modern World that we can change hearts and minds .. if that's not abundantly clear at this point, well, I suppose it never will be .. it's a slow process, and could take more than one generation, but the pay back is worth the commitment .. and in the end, we will still always be left with a faction, hopefully very small, that would still choose carnage and destruction ..

No one is pointing fingers at any religious group. This is a military group & a military war masquerading as a religious war. Religion has nothing to do with it. If you strip all the camouflage away, it has to do with power & control of masses of people, the destruction & take over of sovereign nations, the brainwashing & manipulation of the young in order to benefit thee few who want it all for themselves. It.s not religion. It's not politics. It's power & control, it's greed. It's means is fear to resist. Terrorism.

There's been a lot of breeze the past few days, including this morning when I took that video. Yesterday was REALLY windy. The gimbal is really capable and the video remains smooth. There is a slight horizon tilt as the result of some software glitch for which I know there's a fix. I'll investigate that later today I think.

The ability of the aircraft to handle wind is amazing. Without GPS the quad would be increasingly difficult to handle as wind speed increases, but the video would still be stable.

The stability is amazing. I can see the trees moving, but the picture remains still, no drift or wobble. Delightful!

Someone attacks a synagogue shouting allah, you execute them, then you root out those who helped them and execute them. If you deal with the small terrorist attacks swiftly and harshly, and do not show weakness and fear, the terrorists will think twice about targeting you. This is all about school yard bullies on a grand scale.

If we look back at our own History, many parallels exist .. one example, every island Columbus landed on, he planted a cross, claiming ownership for the Catholic Church and declaring the Native population as Idolators, allowing him to essentially do whatever necessary to gain their obedience to the Church .. and the cruelties inflicted on the Native population were as horrendous or more so than what we see in todays World .. there are many, many examples of Christianity and cruelty based on interpretations ..

Even closer to today, I could cite a laundry list of White Supremacist Radical Christian atrocities that have happened in our own Country .. starting with a guy by the name of McVeigh ..

Exactly. Because they are committing murder by using religion as an excuse. The death penalty should be applied.
