I have the kitchen aid stand mixer but I have the extrusion pasta maker that pushes the dough through for spaghetti (add on to the meat grinder attachment). I dearly want the one with the roller but it is going to have to wait a bit. Vapocalypse first noodle roller lateryeah was thinking later I should have done that, but was so exhausted that night, and it would have taken some doin to get it in the fridge or freezer til I could have boiled it. By next year we'll have my freezer over here, it's small but an upright deep freeze. So next year that's in the works.
Jup.... a kitchen aid stand mixer (with many attachments) has been on my wishlist for many years. One of these days!
I make perogies but I don't even roll them I just stretch out the dough, plop on a dollop of filling, fold it over and seal it and cut the edge with a glass. Right or wrong its how Grandma Babychuck did it so it is how I have always done it. Perogie dough is very elastic.
