Do I email them like usual????
Awesome news!
May I have this dance?
If at all possible, you have til April to rest and get ready. . .Thank you!![]()
Pretty much and much appreciated too. I was actually asking the Florida folks if any of them knew but I forgot to specify. Besides I know you like research. Remind me later to send you a stipend. You prolly right. Another possibility: lizards | Serenity Spell
(The Knight Anole, introduced from Cuba to South Florida and grows 13-20" long.)
I was going to ask Matt who was doing his web research this time last year but I'm pretty sure it was me then, too.![]()

I agree with Bob, they just aren't the same. Specially the slight sugar crunch then the warm dough. Damn I'm making myself hungry.Yeah, that's completely true, but the microwave can do a rather remarkable job of getting them close to what they were.
The thing is that I will be closer to being the same tomorrow as I am today if I curb my impulse to scarf down most or all of the dozen. Been there, done that, lots of times.

Well this has been a unique journey today. We were just inside South Carolina when the nursing home called. Doree's mom fell and bashed her head. Cut it open good. We've turned around and are now almost at the Florida / Georgia line heading back to Deerfield Beach. They've already called us back and the CT scan is clear and she doesn't have a concussion. We're still going back down and we'll try it next week,
That is fantastic news! [emoji106] Whoop! If you can get into his physical & occupational therapy sessions you'll make giant strides in helping him after he gets home. If they offer him rehab GO FOR IT! Everything they have him do will help him recover anything he's lost, & whatever is weak as a result of damage from the stroke. It's all about training other nerves & muscles to take over & do the job of the damaged ones. I had trouble getting my Mom to do the simple little exersizes, because she thought they were silly, & it would all come back by itself. No. It doesn't. The body has to relearn somethings, just like it did when we were kids. Once it's got it, it's fine, but it has to get it first. Practice printing & cursive writing on those tablets we used in 1st grade do it the same way. Reading outloud helps speach. Things like that. Mom says today she wishes she.d done all those things right after her stroke, but even today seldom does them even tho it's just a few minutes a day, or even just when sitting watching tv. We do what we can, they have to do the rest for themselves.Time for me to check-in with an update:
Put on jeans today for the first time in forever. The first pair was way to big. The second old pair was way to small. The third pair was. . . just right. Or so I thought. The longer I wear them the bigger they are getting. I hope I don't have to run any where or somebody is going to see my "big girl panties".bahahahahaha![]()
It was a rough couple of days but the fever broke, AFib undercontrol, responsive and when I got here today. . . NO RESPIRATOR. He has been breathing on his own for a few days but they were afraid to take it out with the pneumonia and all. He is sleeping now peacefully. They still have to test him to see if he can swallow but I am not to worried about that right now.
Just wanted y'all to know and see who wants to dance with me????![]()
Just one more thing. . .
