Doree and I are fixing to get on the road for Virginia from South Florida. We're going to try and make this another "straight through" trip by splitting the driving duties between us. We've already "pilled" the cat and walked the hound. Another cup of coffee and it's "On the Road Again." Just mentioning this so you all can keep us in your prayers for a safe trip. I'll try to keep you informed of our progress and even post a few pics. Nice thing is that once I'm back in Virginia I will be back on the real computer and can join you all in the Hangout. See you later and thanks for the prayers, might need them with all the nut jobs on the roads these day (should I include myself?).

Safe trip Matt and Doree! Well, you will probably see this after the fact. We are driving home to Florida from Cape Cod. Bet we pass each other on I95! Hi Matt and Doree! Wave!

Time for me to check-in with an update:

Put on jeans today for the first time in forever. The first pair was way to big. The second old pair was way to small. The third pair was. . . just right. Or so I thought. The longer I wear them the bigger they are getting. I hope I don't have to run any where or somebody is going to see my "big girl panties".

It was a rough couple of days but the fever broke, AFib undercontrol, responsive and when I got here today. . . NO RESPIRATOR. He has been breathing on his own for a few days but they were afraid to take it out with the pneumonia and all. He is sleeping now peacefully. They still have to test him to see if he can swallow but I am not to worried about that right now.
Just wanted y'all to know and see who wants to dance with me????

Well we just listened to our 26 messages from when we were gone and there were 3 from the fire and police saying fires close watch out for embers and be ready to go. Talked to a friend and he said the smoke was so bad normal people could hardly breathe. He said we were lucky we were gone. Nice 60F today. Feels good to be home. IDK what is going on with the big fires but no smoke here that's good.

West is really sufferin' with all the fires. And drought. Dangerous combination. (not that only one isn't enuff) With the massive amount of trees gone... prayin' for rain is a catch 22. Even a sunshower will end up giving massive flooding.
