Didn't sleep well at all. (boy that brings back memories grrrr)
Sorry you didn't sleep well hun! Kay said it was supposed to get to 34 one night up there, that's insane! Y'all need to move to Texas!! Or maybe we all need to stay in Florida when we get there! lol A waffle iron is one thing I always wanted, but never got.
Saw a thing on the food channel where they put stuffin in the waffle iron...... then layered, cranberry sauce, smashed taters, turkey and gravy on it. Sounds so good and my son would totally flip over that

In a brief Internet search, I wasn't able to find any statement that said Borax eats through the exoskeleton of any insect. (I have read previously that diatomaceous earth does just that, but is difficult to use properly and can be very hazardous to humans.)

Statements and opinions seem to be all over the map, to the extent that it's impossible for me to determine what is true and what is BS. Here is one article that compares Borax to boric acid, but other articles have quite different opinions, and I'm not saying that this article is correct:

Dave, I've used DE many times, but it is Food Grade DE only..and yes, it does eat through the exoskeleton of any insect.....
I use the Pure Earth brand! It can be ingested by humans if done properly......has a lot of benefits......will post later about them as I have to get going now!

Happy Birthday Dancing .... :bday:

Hmmm...being proactive instead of procrastinating? Excellent plan! May have to try that sometime. Good on ya for being ahead of the game and getting to move early! Here's a little treat for you.... I've been craving a chocolate chip cookie in a cast iron skillet with vanilla ice cream. Probably because I've been off sugar for 2 weeks. vaping dessert flavors has certainly helped a lot!

Oh ... that looks so good.

Good morning, all! A brief hiatus in running people around.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

I found out last night that mattiem and crxess have the same birthday as me. Different years, but same day. Very cool!

Now I know for sure that my birthday is a very special day! All the best people! :D

I now have a carless license plate, the set of tires I got 6ish months before the engine let go (most likely I will get more for them on craigslist than I get from scrapping the car), and a Rendezvous sized hole in my driveway.

Is it Thursday yet?

oh yipes! What happened? Or did it just hit it's time? Good thing you'll be able to replace it soon.

It's been sitting for a few months. It had some other issues also that made it just not worth fixing. So It's a good thing to see that empty spot.

The beans or the seven? Beans I hope!
The beans, but the Sevin might make them taste better? I will never know because without the Sevin there would be no beans.
They are White halfrunners. Heirloom seeds passed down for a few generations.
Have about 25 quarts in the basement :)
