Happy Sunday in here !

It's a coffee and tylenol morning

Spent the day at my Sister's yesterday - breakfast through dinner.

Went for a couple of walks...one through Wiregrass Mall and then another through the NEW Outlet Mall that just opened a few weeks ago.

How fun is it to have an Outlet Mall within 5 minutes of your home !!!

but yea...my hip isn't too happy with me

What y'all use to shine up your brass mods?

I used use my wife's jewelry polishing cloth.

Been really busy, but that's all right. It's not helping to keep my mind off my neck and shoulders though. I'm freaking hurting tonight. :-x

{{{Rotowoman}}}

Speaking of sore. Did I mention that I fell down the stairs again last night. I was heading down to take some Motrin to knock down the ache in my knees so I might sleep and I think my brain thought I was further down than I was. Fell from the 4th step up. Had a hold of the railing so I was able to break my fall but ended up bruised some. I'm OK though, just scared me. I seem to be getting clumsier and it's worrying Doree.

Dang Matt ... this is turning into an unwelcome habit ... take care buddy.

But ... but ... is there a discount vape shop in the outlet mall? Can you get a Provari or Reo at discount?:D

Aw Debra, so sorry you're in so much pain. I sure hope the docs can get you fixed up quickly.

Matt, Grace has a good point about getting your balance checked out. You might not even know about a balance problem.

Robert, guess you must have done a good job with the ramp if your wife is home. She should heal much faster now and you can keep an eye on her. Will she have PT or a visiting nurse come by?

Classy, sounds like you weren't AT your sister's much yesterday! Spending time WITH your sister is better anyway!

Good morning, Porchers! How is everyone this fine Sunday mornin'?

Hey, Matt. If this falling thing is becoming a regular occurrence, maybe it's time to get checked out at the doctor and, in the meantime, try to find ways to prevent it. Maybe better lighting in the stairway? Less slippery socks? Pause every two steps? Get more sleep? I don't know. Maybe we should brainstorm.

Hope you're ok. Use it as an excuse to rest in bed all day, at least.
We got app. a foot of snow yesterday! Looks lovely...from inside!

No I'm not taking a pic...it's COLD out there!
Your first big snow in your new place!

Snow is always best to be looked at from inside the house, preferably while sitting next to a roaring fire.
Helluba windstorm last nite. Blew the sat dish down. No tv til tuesday. :(
At least, you know when they'll be coming to fix it. You won't be waiting and waiting to see when it starts working again in the meantime. See? There's always a bright side.

But, it sounds like you had a great day. There's always heck to pay the day after a good time, isn't there?

And, I'm staying far away from malls until after Christmas!

Can you imagine? A big discount vape shop, like a Walmart? Maybe someday.

Nobuddy knows how much I detest satellite! Have cable here too but they don't carry TCM. And that's on 99% of the time. :( So stuck with the sat. Well sat when it isn't raining. Or snowing. :-x

One of the many things I would do if I were rich: Have DSL, cable, AND satellite. That way I'ld have 3 times the chance of always having SOMETHING working.

Debra, I so hope you get to feeling better real soon! I know you do too!

Matt, maybe a check up is in order? I had a balance problem a couple of years ago after falling quite a few times, and with a few therapeutic sessions and some moves I still do at home, and it is much more contained.
Thanks Gracie but, really, I was half asleep and kind of hurrying. I had forgotten to take my meds at 6pm like I'm supposed to and the pain med was wearing off. It was 2 am, I was hurting and didn't turn the light on. I'm going to chalk this one up to being stupid and just try to learn from it. The thing that bothers me is forgetting to take my meds again!

Gary,
Check over at Solidsignal.com and see if they still carry the "rain" replacement dishes. I have one I got a few years ago and it makes a big difference. It's about a 1/3 bigger than the normal dish. New everything except you use the old LNB.

I do my own installs. If you got the tools and aren't worried about the roof you can fix it. There are probably videos on YouTube that will show you how to do the alignment. It ain't too hard. You just need a small tv and one of the receivers up there with you or someone on the ground telling you what the signal is doing.

Well they're supposed to come and install a whole new dish. So hopefully that'll help. This one came with the house so hoping new technology will help. But me gettin' up on da roof? HAH! That ain't happenin' anytime soon! LOL
Only thing is I hope it didn't do much damage to the roof (which is new) and they don't fix it or let me know about it.
