Wow just went and got 3 Rx's for Ginny she's in the deductible stage. $186. Then I realized they had a pharmacist that we'd never seen before and I think John the head guy usually gives us the wholesale price. The same Rx's last month when he was working and she was also in the decuctible stage was $80 less but John was working. We've been going to this pharmacy for about 15 years and its one of those kind of places where you know everyone. At this rate she'll be out of the deductible stage part way through next month. Gotta call him tomorrow.
Well it wasn't a mistake on the prescriptions. They raised one $40 another $30 since last year, kind of eats up that PP raise we got. One thing about it she'll have $340 of her $405 deductible in this month. I can't believe they allow this BP to raise their prices that much. It's robbery for something they know you have to have, they also raised our Plan D $8 a month. I don't know how people without insurance can make it, go without prescriptions or food take your pick.

Whoa, you get a certificate? No cap and gown? We'll it's a lot better than just kicking you out the door! That has to be a relief not to have to make that trip again. Now we gotta send some positive juju for a great report.

Well now an upper endoscopy and possible stretch Friday at 8am. Don't normally have my eyes open by then and gotta be downtown.
Maybe able to eat normally sort of again. Getting awfully tired of the neverending medical stuff.

Good morning peoples! Mike has been MIA due to some kind of illness, not sure what it is, but it's sent him to bed for 2 days. We're just glad it's not the flu. We had that 2 years ago and that was a miserable 2 weeks!

It's 19 outside, but going up to 37 and by Friday we'll be at 60!! We'll be seeing people out and about in tank tops and shorts!

The Saints won the NFC South. The Panthers, with the same 11-5 record, were second in the NFC South due to having lost twice to the Saints during the regular season.
The Super Bowl will be played in Minnesota. If the Eagles and Vikings both win this weekend, the Vikings will meet the Eagles in Philly, the only time that MN will have a playoff game away from home.

Schedule for this coming weekend:
Saturday:
Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles
Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots
Sunday:
Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers
New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings

2017 NFL Football Schedule
Thanks Dave

I read about some kind of bug that is going around back that way. He didn't eat any Romaine did he? Yes I agree the weather is doing some strange stuff, we had a cold snap for a while but now it has been upper 30s daytime and just below freezing at night. I'm not complaining at all but it is strange. For us for the next 10 days around 38 day and between 27 and 32 nights. Wow 60 how much snow you got to melt off in a hurry. CA is really getting its share of catastrophic stuff, first burning up now sliding away. I feel sorry for those people. We've got some romaine and not taking a chance with it. Glad it was on sale.

While the wild-eyed post-midnight mad chef was steaming brussel sprouts, he found that he had only eaten 9 of the 10 Queen Anne's chocolate covered cherries that he bought before Xmas. It was almost orgasmic.

I sprinkled the sprouts with minced garlic, then drizzled a tablespoon of blue agave nectar on them after they were done... sounded like a good idea and it was... the chocolate covered cherry made me do it.

No, it's an intestinal bug going around. I did miss it so far, but came down with a head cold yesterday. I'm doing fine, he's still in bed. This bug makes you want to sleep a lot and ends up messing up sleeping all night.

Yes, the weather usually does do some strange stuff. I don't ever remember a time when the weather wasn't strange, but what is normal? Yeah, CA is having a rough time, but mud slides are common after fires burn off the vegetation that holds the soil. When my daughter lived in San Diego a big chunk of the state burned and the building she worked in had a huge wall behind it to protect from mud slides. It's a way of life if you live in CA.
