Movie Review: Legally Blonde, 2001. Dramedy. Reese Witherspoon, Luke Wilson, Selma Blair. Very good. Personally, I don't find Witherspoon to be exceptionally good-looking, but her warmth is endearing and she's an excellent actress.
Everything happens for a reason. Wireless moouse and keyboard sounds like an upgrade to me.The day didn't get started all that well. It actually started last night as I was getting ready for bed.
Awwww, his first Nana! This is such a sweet time when they start connecting the dots! And another one one the way, too! Congratulations!Oh no problem. He's a lovable, funny little guy. He's now walking around mumbling different word sounds. Took me a bit, but I finally realized he was trying to repeat words I said to him as well as other unrecognizable words of his own. I'm pretty sure he called me Nana yesterday! I can't wait to be able to have conversations with him. Miles and I are starting to have conversations and I just find it thrilling. Hux still isn't talking, but I think he's starting to get the idea that maybe using words could be helpful. All 3 kids are so different. And by Jan 4 we'll be adding another grandson!
It builds up, Legs. It's hard to watch a loved one go thru this.No problem it may be a while till I get around to it too. I've been in a bad place in my head lately. I still haven't sent the stuff I told people I would send. I just can't get motivated to do anything anymore. The neighbor came over yesterday crying and her dog of many years died that morning. Ginny is not doing very well after this last treatment. Seems like each time it get a little worse, she is 6 days out now, but she is getting an extra week off this time but as soon as we get back, the next day she has a treatment.
No apologies neededn Legs. We are here for you whatever you need/want to talk about! I love your stories! And so are we, Pat; but not for your unloading! We are here for you and Ginny if you need us.

Me, too. And I agree.Political controversy rears its ugly head VERY rapidly here, when any politician is spoken of. In more recent years, I try very hard to avoid such controversy. I made no such efforts when I initially frequented this group.
I hope that the following comments are not regarded as political, and there is no need for anyone to ask "why would anyone regard them as political?", because IMHO, that simply politicizes things. If anyone determines that my comments are political, I will delete this post rather than be defensive.
1. I'm watching every second of the services for John McCain, currently and over the past few days. I am quite moved.
2. McCain's mother, Roberta, is 106. Her attendance and countenance at the current DC services are amazing things on their own.
Oh, those adhesives are horrific for me...terribly allergic!! I use cotton tape for everything now.
He is so cute! I love this pic!Remember our little Great Grandson, here he is at almost 4 months.

That is what I am hoping. I really hate to admit it, however, this is not the first time that I have done this. It happened when I first got the laptop and it affected the number pad. All I can do it wait and see. Until then, the workaround with the wireless keyboard is really going to take some getting used to. I may have to rearrange (clean) my desktop so I can use the keyboard and mouse. I now wish had gotten a smaller keyboard. Oh well, this too shall pass.If it was just water, the keyboard may revive in time...
