Happy Birthday to @MattB101. We haven't heard from him since April but one of his most recent messages was an apology for being too busy with work to spend time in this forum. I know that one of us tried to contact him last month through Facebook and got no public response. Anyway, I did some sleuthing and didn't find anything which would cause sorrow or alarm, so I hope everything is hunky dory, Mattman!

It's a sad day here. This morning we said goodbye to Tasha, my 11 yr old Belgian Tervuren, also my avatar. She had stomach cancer and today said she was ready to move on. The couch is so empty. Geordi is taking it well, he looks for her but with most of his brains hanging between his back legs, he misses her .... more than anything. DH and I miss her for the silly girlie she was.

Godspeed Tasha, you are reunited with your beloved Spock.

After reading this article, I've got newly renewed hopes for faster internet than is currently available to me. One thing, though.... the article mentions that providers of 5G service can attach repeater units to street light poles. What the heck are street lights?

How is she doing at work?

I've been seeing posts from Roto on FB fairly regularly, and I know that she reads my posts there as well. She tends to post when she's just finished a grueling number of consecutive days at work, or when she has just seen another proof that others with whom she has to share the road don't know how to drive. When she speaks of being in pain, that's when I wish she was less motivated to work so hard.
