Well, yes we did. We had to buy a new washer/dryer. They said they would be here today between 2:30-4:30. Then called to say closer to 5:00. Well, it's 5:40... And here I had the first load of wash ready to go!

Anyway, on the way home from Best buy where we bought the washer/dryer we stopped in at Michael's and bought a lighted pencil Christmas tree 50% off. It'll go in the family room because our real tree is going in the living room. Stupid colonial houses have 2 rooms and they're not close together. Guess that's good for people who like to decorate, but I'd rather cook. I don't like shopping either, especially at the mall, so my gifts will mostly be bought online.
Cool laundry party at Janet and Mikes. Did you get one of those monster ones with the doors in the front. I don't know if those hold more or just look like they would wash the whole platoons laundry.

Yep David I just checked the prices and they start at $300 for a seat in the very tippy top above the opponents end zone to around $4000 at ground level around the 50 yd line. The cheap seats you'd need a telescope to see them and then it wouldn't be very well. I think I'll wait for the DVD. It would be a heck of an experience tho. The stage is in the end zone. Those $4000 seats you have to buy at least 2 and at this moment there are about 10 tickets left in that area. Probably 3 by now. So if you took an average price of $2000 times 60000 seats, wait a minute let me get my slide rule out. That's 120 mil just for Seattle.

Guess that's a pretty good way to pick up a few extra bucks.

Well did any of you do the Black Friday thing or are you waiting for Cyber Monday? I started looking at vape gear of course. Now maybe it is because I haven't really looked at stuff for quite a while but I just didn't see anything that was, what seemed to me to be a great bargain.

Well just a few days ago our washer up and stopped washing ... so we took advantage of the BF sales and bought a LG washer/dryer. Best Buy was $2 more per unit then Home Depot but could deliver in 2 days not a week like HD. Lowes listed them on their website as 'unavailable. And Costco ... yeah everything cheaper at Costco ... not so ... they were $30 more per unit than Best Buy.

The washer is a top loader ... Janet didn't like the idea of squatting down to pull out the clothes and there's a lot of complaints about mildew and mold build up in the back of the front load washers.

I've got enough problems without having you guys all P_____D off at me too.

No one is T'ed off at you. We know you try your best to restrain yourself and sometimes it just 'comes out'.

We went for Ginny's MRI, she had a blood test last week to check her Creatinine level and it was too low for her to have it with contrast. Not sure what that means but when I called the doc he said she couldn't have the contrast because it would be too hard on her Kidneys.

Really don't know what low creatinine means but I will look it up.

I like the top loader so that's what we got. The wash cycle takes forever, but the tub is HUGE so I can probably get 2 of my usual loads in there so I guess it really will save time. It doesn't have the big agitator thing in the center, but I'm told this way is better. At least clothes will tangle around themselves and not the agitator.

So, does she have the blood test right before getting the MRI with contrast or will they do the MRI without the contrast?

They did it without. I got lucky and when I called the office her doc was on call, he said they can't take a chance using the dye because it could really mess up her kidneys.

My stoopid hearing aids which are supposed to be smart, well I went in to get an adjustment on Thursday and I should have known with the tech I got, he removed the filters that are in the tubes. So I had all kinds of volume but I can't understand maybe 75% of what someone is saying. I don't know why this one guy insists on taking those filters out but for some reason it makes it almost impossible for me to understand what someone is saying. Ginny is so tired of me saying WHAT she's about ready to throw something at me. So I have to go in and get them fixed again. That is the nice part of the VA they have a walk in clinic every weekday from 8am to 330pm so you can just go in and get them fixed and they are only about 20 min away.

Geordi had a busy week. Between guests for Thanksgiving and his "friend with benefits", he is very thankful. With luck, puppies due the end of January. No puppy for me, I'm not ready, but in the future?

Tell him either leave the filters in or send me a different tech. Period.

There is no hearing aid so good that it can't be defeated by an incompetent technician.

Well went back to the VA got the filters back and readjusted and I can hear. That's not the best tho. The prayers must've worked no cancer in the brain. So the next hurdle is Wednesday she has to go to the hospital and they are going to place some gold pellets around the spot on her liver so the Cyberknife has a point to lock on to. Be there at 1130am and out around 730pm. Then 10 low dose radiation treatments to the brain. I guess they call it prophylactic radiation. Seems like always one thing more to do. But first 3 Cyberknife treatments to liver. Sheesh.

Pat,

You and Ginny have dodged sooo many 'bullets' that would have would have been fatal to all too many others. Just prioritize, focus and be thankful for your blessings in the face of desperate times!

As a side note, my main laptop got a lil' bug. Took it to da 'puter doc. Using my ol' HP dat is slower dan a snail's baby steps...
