Me, too!Yep Kenna Ginny won't let me make a move without her being there. I have to have her permission to pass gas. I sure do love her. Definitely my better half.

As far as the hip is concerned it doesn't really bother me, either that or my shoulder hurts so bad I don't notice the hip.
That's how I feel, too. I'm so grateful for The Porches & everyone here!I really appreciate you guys caring so much about me and my well being. I'm so glad I came here in the first place.
Don't worry about it, Legs. You were in a different environment & atmosphere for over a month. It will go away as you get used to being home.Well Ginny says I had something happen to me while in the nursing home. That I am somehow different. I'm talking weird and she can't figure it out. I don't know what it can be my Grandaughter noticed it also. Hard to say what it is. They say I just sound different when I am talking about something. I don't know what it can be but guess I need to find my old self. It seems weird but when the 2 people who are the closest to me say that something changed it must be so. Something else to think about.
Everyone hanging out elsewhere. We need to jump start this thread. It used to be so active and now there is maybe 2 or 3 posts a day. What happened??
Oh, Mary! Are you warm enough? How are you doing?View attachment 797687That cement block in the lower right corner is on top of another.
Have you contacted the Dr about that shoulder? I remember you mentioned putting too much weight on it once. You've had this pain since then.Ugh. We are doing ok but there are no above freezing temps in the future as far as my 10 day forecast goes. So we are in the deep freeze for a while. Occupational therapist coming today, I just want to get this shoulder moving a little without pain. As far as the hip is concerned it doesn't really bother me, either that or my shoulder hurts so bad I don't notice the hip.
Absolutely! Anyway, his writing hasn't changed a bit.Don't worry about it, Legs. You were in a different environment & atmosphere for over a month. It will go away as you get used to being home.

Snow is still falling, so they haven't plowed yet. I usually go to 5:30 Mass on Tuesday, but I would have to wade to get there. My tallest boots are 12 inches, and I don't have any snowshoes. I just woke up from a nap, so I am chilly, just changed to my fur hat. I think I will stop when I have 20 items of headgear. I did a fashion show yesterday on FB. Roto stopped in to comment, said something about appreciating beanies in cold weather.Oh, Mary! Are you warm enough? How are you doing?

Very impressed with how my new snowblower blew 4" of slush with little effort. New washer with Water Sensing Technology has got me a bit perplexed tho. Wish I got both yrs ago. Being tightfisted sometimes doesn't pay off.
We got a dual agitator , the one that sticks up and the base moves also. Didn't like the reviews on the one w/o. I watched some utube vids on how to get xtra water in there. Weird stuff. Water is cheap enuf here, we should have shopped harder perhaps. Can't speak to the snow blower, but we just got new a new washer and dryer after the 23 year old ones stopped working. Had my doubts about no agitator, but wow does it work! Wanted to get all our clothes and rewash everything1 What a difference! And it looked like there was barely enough water to wash them. I thought the last tub was large, but this one is huge!!
Takes a lot less time to wash and dry all the laundry, but it still takes just as long to fold everything. That's not so bad except for the fitted sheets. They always seem to hide clothes inside the gathered corners so they don't dry - makes me crazy!
