You folks are lucky you only had to smoke the whole pack or whole pack of cigs. A good friend of mine, when his Dad caught him smoking made him eat the whole cigar. Boy was he sick ... I guess he's lucky his dad didn't poison him to the point of needing medical attention making him eat it.

Did it stop him from smoking? Nope.

Evening, kind of quiet in here, someone forget to turn out the lights on their way out?
I was pet/house sitting over the weekend so out of touch. Back home tonight!

@DavidOck

David, does the juice in your Skylines turn dark fast and pre-mature to the coil/wick gunking up? Ours do. I just opened two of Janet's Skylines because the very light colored juice we vape was very dark in color. I figured it must be time to 're-wick'.

But the coil and wick were in fine shape. The coil has virtually no gunk or buildup and the wick looks nice a clean, like the light color of our juice. Yet the juice in the tank was very dark in color.

I can't figure out why this is happening. All our other rebuildables when the juice gets that dark, the coil/wick is yucky.

Comments?

I start getting some darkening after a few fills, more or less depending on the particular flavor. Never noticed any darkening on the first fill though.

Then again, my other toppers are all KF2Ls, so they're not clear to the bottom of the deck. Maybe the Skyline is not different, it just isn't normally visible in other tanks?

Yep, you can see clear to the bottom of the skylines and KFLs. The juice starts to turn dark by the 3rd tank. Mostly I'm vaping a pear/blueberry blend which is pretty clear.

So you're running the KFLs with the M5, full poly jacket? Most of mine are set with just the center section clear, so the bottom isn't visible.

Wondering, too, if it's related to wicking. I do feather out my KFLs, but have not been doing that on the Skylines, just cutting square. Maybe time for an experiment, next time I need to rewick one...

Our Zeniths are the only tanks that aren't clear top to bottom. Mike does all the wicking and rebuilding. He feathers out the wick and cuts it off straight and tucks it down. I don't think it's the way I vape. I push the button then start to draw and release the button before I'm done drawing on it to clear it out. Come to think of it, I haven't had any dark juice with the Zeniths. The last time I changed the coil was because the juice was tasting off, the juice was not dark.

Sounds like he's wicking them pretty much the way I am. No, doesn't sound like your vape "style."

Hmmm.

Yep, it's a mystery. For whatever reason(s); the short wicks compared to KFLs leach juice back into the tank? The physical layout of the Skyline's deck/juice holes allowing more leaching? The coil configuration heats the tank/juice more than a KFL? Don't know what causes it, but it happens with all the Skylines we have in rotation.

Good morning. Hello? Anybody home? Where did everybody go? Did you all go to have fun somewhere and not invite me???
Good morning! How are you & Mike & the kid's?
I've just been distracted. Dr visit yesterday took days of pumping water into myself so bloodwork would be easier. Did some cooking, which require a lot of sitting down. I use a lot of prechopped frozens to cut down on standing time. I did find out why my right foot has been painful to walk on. Told the Dr it feels like it's a little out of joint. He says it's not seated in the joint correctly because the ankle is collapsed into the foot. The cartilage is damaged by the RA & wearing away. But it could have happened many years ago so he gave me kudos for taking such good care of my joints.
Getting ready for lots of extended pet sitting over the holidays, too.

Nah; just quiet sometimes.

We just put an offer in on a new house. It will be good to get out of this tiny, temporary apartment and get our 55,000 pounds of household good out of storage. Of course, no place is going to be perfect. We still will have to get a zoning variance so I can have an addition built on to the garage for my shop. However, it DOES have a back porch.
