Nah he just wanted to go cruise chicks.
crap. If you were the runnin mate, I'd vote for him. Then someone could... uhmmm....... misplace him......and you'd be Pres! I'd hate to do that to you, but at least someone with some sense would be in there, and you could get FDA's heart right! hehehe

That would be REALLY nice.

I ended up driving there from here in Louisiana (hubby does not drive). We took it slow though and did it in 3 days getting there. Then 3 days at the Canyon. Then we dropped down to Phoenix to visit my mom for a few days. Then to Tucson for 2 days to decompress post mom and show the hubby some things I loved from when I lived in Tucson years ago. Then 3 days drive home.

For us trip planning tends to be a bit like planning the assault on Normandy with details for Chair accessibility so we don't do it very often. When we do we pack as much in as we can. :)

I am still trying to get my computer back in order.

Part of my absence was total hard drive failure. I changed the drive easily enough but reloading Windows and other software was another story. LOL

I did loose ALL my bookmarks in it. 4 years of accumulate vaping info gone in a flash. Still trying to refind the better stuff.

Hangout software is not yet reloaded.

oh that sucks losing all your bookmarks. I need to weed through mine, and email myself the ones I want to keep. If I change puters, I dunno if Chrome will load them on the new puter or not. I might get one of my son's older puters if we can get it going

ok that's kewl, thanks. so if I get my son's old laptop.....how do I tell it to go get my bookmarks? Just by like signing into google?
There is actually a setting somewhere in your google account that controls if Chrome bookmarks are shared between computers. I think it is on by default so you don't have to do anything other than sign in. If it is turned off though they won't be shared.

We were going to go up there from my brothers place in Lake Havasu but kept getting stalled in Laughlin.

I always keep my bookmarks backed up on a flash drive. That way if a crash happens (as it did a few weeks ago) and I had to reload everything, from Windows on up, I can reload that file.

This new hangout link seems to be working OK. Janet, Yiddle, and I have been testing it. It even works if I am not signed in.

It's all Google Fu. To create a permanent hangout do it via creating an Event. Then use the Advanced option to make the Event an On-line Hangout. Then set the date to some time in the future. The link won't expire until the future date is reached.

Caveats ... if you are using the new Google+ from a computer you have to switch back to Classic mode. You can't create Events from a computer using the new Google+ screens. With the new Google+ you can only create Events from an Android device.
is there a way to make my computer use the classic google+???

Just wanted to add my voice to the crowd. Transiting computers is a cinch with Chrome. Remembers almost everything. And I agree, having Chrome on a thumbdrive makes it easy to use someone else's computer with your Chrome account.

yeah,, that setting is in there somewhere. i need a windows computer,, but i use chrome browser and bookmarking to avoid the hunt and search/set up on the next computer. all important stuff is on a usb. most pics on the cloud or usb.

my husband is not tech savy,, so i set him up chromebook all the way.. (and so he doesnt screw up a windows platform.. which he would lol) i like it that if he were to drop or lose his chromebook,, we can drop by any walmart/best buy and get him another and nothing is lost for him.

I'm so far behind, I don't think I'll ever catch up. Just popping in my head to say hello. I went to the other porch first and was totally confused as to why I couldn't post there. Then it hit me. Then I had to go back a page to get the link to this one. Oh well. Such is life's path.

All is well on this end. Life just has me running. I go to clean the house now.
