The rep is there to train, as in, Legs will figure out how to use the software, and that's how the rep will get trained.
Yeah the rep knows his stuff. I talked to my old prosthetist whos working in Oregon now and he says he sees the rep at least once a week. These are really new so I think I'll be a test pilot also. I already downloaded 2 of the apps so I have one for each foot but can't do anything with them till they are BT paired with the feet.

So, a while ago I was watching all the birds literally swarming the feeders and was pretty sure a storm was coming...sure enough, it's snowing like crazy!!!

Don't need no dang weather channel:D

I'm taking a lil break from putting weather stripping on the doors and windows...I know, shoulda had it done already..shouldn't have to do it at all as I rent this place...but the maintenance man is both lazy and inept, and I enjoy doing "manly" chores, it makes me feel impowered:D

Geez Ginnys favorite brother called last Thursday and thought he had a pinched nerve in his back or neck and was going to see the Chiropacter on Friday.

That night his chest got real tight and he started sweating and they had to call the ambulance and he'd had a massive heart attack.

He had bypass surgery and he felt fine after so he continued smoking and drinking occasionally. I tried to talk him into vaping but he didn't want any part of it.

They had to put some stints in and he just got out of the hospital today. He's only 65 but he wouldn't listen. He's OK for now he didn't say how much damage was done. He said he was able to walk upstairs 5 times. Told him to take it easy.

Damned stubborn Czech's.

OOps @FlamingoTutu I remembered what you said and edited as an after thought but I remembered.
wow.......glad he's doing better, but hope you can get through to him. I'm dealing with the same with my sil. She has had lung cancer for about a year. Was treated, she thought perhaps that took care of it......but newp, it's back in other spots now. She's the one who introduced me to vaping when she bought a disposable. She's got gear, I've offered her better gear, made juice for her etc, she's even asked for juice, but so far no go. Drives me batty, but as we all know, you certainly can't force anyone.

OBTW, as a BD selph-gipht, on 1/1/2017 I entered da 20th Century while well into da 21st. Treated myselph to a Galaxy S VII, my phirst smart fone! Dey also 'tossed' in a phree Samsung Gear VR...
Wow.........you dove right in head first! Glad it was the deep end! :D Did you keep the same number?

Well I don't get my new feet till Friday the 13th. The prosthetist has never set these kind of feet up and doesn't know how the phone app works so a representative of the company that makes them is going to be there to get them right and show me how to adjust them with my phone.
Jup, I'm with the others, having the rep set it up is likely a good thing! But with Dave, I'm sure you'll teach him a thang or three. :D

quick drop-by,, Happy Birthday Iffy!
Good to see ya hun. Was wondering about you a week or so ago

The first person to receive these feet was a 79 year old priest and he loves them. That was this summer.
I'm excited for you! New feet & new tech all at one time! Do they have DNA boards? [emoji1]

The way technology is processing who knows what improvements will be coming up. I thought the "Blade Runner" style was great this is amazing. Good luck with getting accustomed to it quickly.
Yep I don't think it will be too bad because the ones I have are also microprocessor controlled but they don't have the movement that these do. These are with 5 years more tech then mine. We're going to join the gym after I get these. They are supposed to make things like walking easier. They aren't made for people who are real athletic they are for people that are what are considered to be low to mid K3 ambulators which just means that you can walk without other aids, go up and down stairs, step side to side, change the speed of your walking. For people who are really into athletics they still use a much stiffer ankle and the blades they have are way more advanced from the original blade runner.

Maybe I'm a little more paranoid than others....or maybe overly cautious because I can't afford even a small loss, but....Amazon Prime may not always be the cheapest price, but worth paying a bit more and not taking a chance on 3rd party dealers......same with Walmart....if it's not coming directly from Walmart....nope, won't trust other dealers selling in their marketplace.

Sorry to read about the ill ones in your family....hope that beautiful little guy is better. You know that I'm sending my most positive thoughts, vibes....in your family's direction...

I've found that Amazon is not necessarily the cheapest source, but it's a place to start and the reviews are helpful. If I'm getting something costing more than a few bucks I go to Amazon for information and then check elsewhere online to compare. And free shipping can make a big difference.

Thank you for keeping Miles in mind. He seems to be doing somewhat better. Hopefully getting back to the asthma doc will make a difference.

Any chance or advantage to talking to him?

What surprised me was how fast my Railroad Medicare OK'd them. I'm sure they are about 25k each which they will probably pay 15k for and my supp will pick up the rest.

How lucky are you to be able to get these new prosthetics! You're going to be our resident bionic man!! I'm so excited for you!

Good morning, all. It is currently 22°with a windchill of 7°. We are supposed to get 1" - 3" of snow starting later today and overnight. The high today will be 30° with the low tonight of 17°. I need to go to the bank later today and I will be bundled up. I won't win any fashion awards as I wear my camo hunting coat and fur hat. People look at me sort of weird like, however, my hunting gear is warmer than anything else I own. That's ok, though, I'm not out to win awards or impress anyone. My goal is to stay warm.
Last night I was bored, nothing really good on TV so I started crunching some numbers on juice making. I placed an order for some more flavors Tuesday for my main ADV. Since I ordered 16 oz sizes of the 4 ingredients I figured that a 100 ml batch including VG, PG, Nic, and flavors will cost me right at $1.30. The 100 ml of juice will last me about a week. That is a whole heck of a lot less than a carton of analogs.
