Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part Seven

Good morning, all. It is currently 22°with a windchill of 7°. We are supposed to get 1" - 3" of snow starting later today and overnight. The high today will be 30° with the low tonight of 17°. I need to go to the bank later today and I will be bundled up. I won't win any fashion awards as I wear my camo hunting coat and fur hat. People look at me sort of weird like, however, my hunting gear is warmer than anything else I own. That's ok, though, I'm not out to win awards or impress anyone. My goal is to stay warm.
Last night I was bored, nothing really good on TV so I started crunching some numbers on juice making. I placed an order for some more flavors Tuesday for my main ADV. Since I ordered 16 oz sizes of the 4 ingredients I figured that a 100 ml batch including VG, PG, Nic, and flavors will cost me right at $1.30. The 100 ml of juice will last me about a week. That is a whole heck of a lot less than a carton of analogs.

I've found that Amazon is not necessarily the cheapest source, but it's a place to start and the reviews are helpful. If I'm getting something costing more than a few bucks I go to Amazon for information and then check elsewhere online to compare. And free shipping can make a big difference.

Thank you for keeping Miles in mind. He seems to be doing somewhat better. Hopefully getting back to the asthma doc will make a difference

I am, essentially, lazy when it comes to on-line shopping, thus, Amazon is generally my one stop shop .. I like the "Subscribe and Save", which can save me some pretty good dinero on consumables and household essentials and I can turn off subscriptions as needed and reactivate when needed .. I have never had any real problems with delivery, although I feel for Gary .. .. I generally won't buy Tech items from Amazon, since I have found they are really never the lowest .. However, I believe there is an Amazon "Price Match" feature if you can provide them with a link to an authorized Website that offers the item for less .. I can't find the link, although I did not look too hard ..

When folks ask me what I would like for a Gift, I always say "Amazon Gift Card" .. which I then let stack up in my Amazon account until I begin to Jones for a new do dad of some sort / etc .. I have stacked gift cards literally for years at times .. .. I also don't take a yearly Prime Membership, because I milked it when I had it for everything I could get and now that you can get a month at a time, I simply take a month when needed and milk it again for any new Prime Shows, etc ..

The problem is, at that point, we won't have any choice unless we refuse the chip implant, which will then place us on the "Suspect List" .. .. however, the need for sleep will have been eliminated, so we'll do whatever we do 24/7 ..

We don't even have the tiny shower. The tub is sunken into the floor and is literally at least 18 to 20 inches deep. Neither Doree nor I can get in and out of it so we just don't use it. The sink and vanity are in a seperate area from the tub and terlet. The room the tub and toilet are in is so big it's like going potty in a gymnasium, or at least like the bathrooms in high school.[emoji38] We use the guest bath for now and it has problems too. Should have been retiled 10 or 15 years ago so I think it's got a mold problem. Master first, then guest. Actually getting a J.O.B. is first. I'll start applying next week or so. Kind of like to work in the electrical department at Lowe's. We'll see. (Damn! That's a dirty word![emoji38])

Oh by the way... Happy New Year Everyone and here is prayers for a great 2017.

It kind of works like a submarine door and the jacuzzi is just on/off, but I have a massively screwed up lower back and it helps. Actually I even take showers sitting down (but that's just bc I'm lazy).

I'm currently trying to just get a 90 day supply of one of my meds approved and that is something they regularly do, they just don't wanna do this one for some reason.

some of that is headed here. Fri sat and sun is low to mid 20s, tonite and next mon low 30s. I'm sooooooooo done with winter! Stay warm, to heck with fashion. That's really kewl on yur juice cost. Wow, 16oz is a lotta flavoring! I got a few 4 oz bottles in my last order......need to get some more of those, and get a few smaller bottles of things I don't have but want to try.

Me too. My Note 4 doesn't do it well. Not quite upgrade time yet but when it is I'm think a Pixle XL. Pure Android with no manufacturers garbage on top. Also will be updated much more regularly because tje updates come directly from Google.

If you limit your purchases to those sold by Amazon itself or from a vendor you have previously dealt with I don't think you really have anything to worry about. You can pretty much tell the Chinese merchants by the "engrish" in their descriptions and such.

Yes, I continue to work with the idea .. it's a giant eye whose pixels are composed of the single eye pics which will magically expand each single pic as you mouse over .. it's fairly intense and time consuming but I'll finish it eventually .. problem is, it's going to take about 10K pics to do it right .. I have also been doing some painting using the eye pics .. here is a small example ::

Thank you so much .. I've told this in the past, but I'll bore everyone and tell it again :: When I was young, I never needed anyone .. Oh, stop, wrong story .. .. I started taking photos using a Brownie 127 .. after entering the Military and being sent to Vietnam, during an R&R in Tokyo, I bought my first 35mm and an extra lens, a Pentax .. which was my constant companion for many years .. I bought into the Digital Age with a Dycam in the early 1990's .. when I was in High School, we had a black and white photo darkroom, and since then, I had longed for my own darkroom .. never had the space or I guess, the drive to actually build one .. enter the Digital Age and viola .. my wish was granted as the PC became the darkroom .. interestingly enough, this avenue was also how I came to know Graham Nash and company, you'll find a little known factoid on him being his involvement with Nash Editions since I think around 1990 ::

I believe photography is time travel .. I continue to be fascinated by the hobby, although I don't have near the physical mobility I used to have as it relates to getting out and about ..



Why yes .. although, the last person that attempted to manipulate my stuff I castrated .. kidding, of course, or am I .. ?? The original image is too large to upload to ECF, however, I am happy to edit it to 1080 size 16:9 with little compression and deliver that digitally through upload to my Google drive or whatever ..

If you would send me the hugh res vetsions of the eye and the sea oat(?) pics I would love to print on the large format inkjet and frame them up and hang em. Got a lot of blanks walls around here that could use some beauty. I think you have my email address?
