This is true .. but it's a pain if your Landlord is willing to try and dispute it .. the Wheels of Progress will then turn very, very slowly ..

I haven't asked any neighbors about antennas, but I know there's not a single one in this whole community and some people have been here a long time, so I'm not gonna bother with an outdoor one.

It just ticks me off that there's so many crap channels that I have to pay for, with all the dadblamed commercials! I do DVR a lot..just so I can watch the dang show and fast-forward the dadblamed commercials:grr:

Well heres a pic of the new ones along with the phone app that I can make adjustments on. It's going to take a little getting used to they have way more motion and more of your foot stays on the ground when you walk. I'll have to say so far I like them better. Once I get them set the way I like best then I will go in and he can set them to that which will put all my settings to 0 like you see but they will actually have my configuration. I can make changes up to 10% he can make more. I think they are going to be fantastic once I get them set perfectly for me which is hard to do when you can't go outside and try them walking on uneven ground. They look a lot heavier then they are it is a carbon fiber housing for the electronic and battery. You'll have to zoom in yourself to get a better look at them. Will do a video when it thaws out here enough to see how they move. Ginny couldn't believe the way they move like real ankles.

Hey @oldbroad I got to thinking about your situation and they have a new thing out called DirectTV Go. I think it is about $35 a month and you get quite a few channels. All the networks except ABC which hasn't come to an agreement. Heres the website maybe it's called directtv now. All done through the internet. Not available everywhere but nearly.
DIRECTV NOW | Stream TV – Watch Live TV & On Demand

Oh also I was going to tell you with Netflis get the 9.99 subscription. I tried the 11.99 one with 4k and it's really not any better and not that big a choice in 4k stuff but the 1080p is worth it. If you have DSL I think that is the best. I've talked to people that have 100+Mbps cable and do not have the streaming ability that I have with the 2 DSL's coming in at 20Mbps I really never have a problem streaming at 1080p with 5.1 Dolby. Just my opinion and I am sure not everyones but a lot of people have the cable at 100=Mbps that cannot stream at 1080 and get a constant picture on Kodi which I think is because you are sharing the band width with 100's or even more people. but with Netflix and Amazon you don't need over 20Mbps to get a good quality that you will be happy with.

Between Netflix, Amazon which I just know you have a subscription to anyway and this you would be disconnected from cable. Unless that's the way you get your internet.

Unfortunately, I'm also getting landline and internet thru cable.

I was told that small daily doses for a person who is deficient triggers a minimal absorption response. Large weekly doses don't give the body a chance to impose an absorption cap.

OK, that makes sense except why would it trigger a minimal absorption response? The body needs it. I'm not sure what (and if) too much would do to the body. Some excess vitamins will just wash out, but others cause problems.

The 50,000 IU vitamin D are prescription, not over the counter doses. It's something I've also had to take in the past and had to be taken on an alternate schedule to the RA biologics I was also injecting at the time, it could not be taken on the same day....;) I had one of the best rheumatologists in the tri-state area, PA, NJ and NY....lab work was required every 6 weeks or prescriptions would be denied by her...

It's really strange they feel like I'm walking on cushion in a good way. it did say that it takes less energy to do things
Consider this a "do as I say, not as I do" post. When I saw your post the other day, it hit me hard that you were having a harder time of it. The I can do it myself static has gotten real old for me, cause dammit, I can't do it myself any longer. I had a extra large helping of poor me, this am. I actually fell getting out of bed. That old commercial that was fodder for comedians, IVE FALLEN AND I CANT GET UP. Well not so funny now, took me 45 min. Of crying, hollering at God for the strength to just getup. Finally did get up, but it sure wore me out physically and mentally. So here comes the lecture part......you must let people do for you! When you do, you give them a gift of being useful, and they give you the gift of real help that you need. Accepting help is a true win-win situation. So don't be embarrassed, too proud, too independent to accept help when it is offered. Just learn to say thanks, I really appreciated your help, and no I couldn't have done it without you!
I know your right and one of our neighbors always says just call us if you need some help but it really still bothers me. I feel just like you sometimes hollering at God why me. For me Kenna is right this weather really gets to me at times, now we are supposed to warm up for a while long enough they are putting out flood advisories in town. Out here it will run down the hill to the lake and the other parts of the US with this ice storm. I'm hoping we avoid that. They had one here 20 or so years ago that knocked the power out for 2-3 weeks. It's supposed to thaw and rain for a couple of days and then freeze again. Still a lot of people not as lucky as me.

Yep for us it's because of these stupid operations we had to lose weight causing malabsorbtion. When I first lost my legs I had to take it daily trying to bring me back from what the doc called the worst case of malnutrition he had ever see.My most recent labs were pretty good except for HGB ALT AST because of my problem absorbing iron. The VA is sending me to the same hemotologist that Ginny went to because my PCP at the VA said the surgeons are saying one thing the hemotologist retired with no replacement the Radiologist say something else so she just said fine I'll send him to someone who knows more then all 3 of them. She also wants to send me for another colonoscopy and endoscopy at a civilian place. The one I had at the VA almost killed me because they wouldn't listen to me about how much crap I had to drink and my body absorbed it and he couldn't even get the whole way on the colonoscopy. Something I've noticed about some of the VA docs they don't listen so she is sending me to the best place in the city.

Thanks Pat! Gonna check it out...
I did sme more checking on it for you Kay andit's not that great either. You have to have Chromecast or an Amazon Fire box. If you are lucky enough to have AT&T streaming it doesn't count towards your data cap but anyone else it does. I don't know who your cable is through but I know Comcast has a 1TB cap telepone is about the same which is why I went with a business account but it's expensive also mine is $160 a month for unlimited phone and internet including this fancy modem but for us it's worth it we watch a lot of tv in the winter. I also have Netflix and Amazon plus Kodi and Dish so pretty much unlimited stuff to watch. Any movie that is out on DVD or PPV, All the locals HBO even had the Adult streaming apps for 1 day. We watched 1 and that was enough for us. Like low budget XXX rated actually XXXX rated. Got rid of those even if they were free they were just too Nasty or at least the one we watched. We looked at each other and said nah felt like we were watching something sacrilegious it was so bad.
