I really don't know how y'all do it. I don't have nearly the problems some people have. And, it's mostly in my own hands to make it ok.

But, I don't do what I'm supposed to. Like I'm resisting because someone is telling me what to do (plus laziness, of course). Before you know it, I'm messing up so bad that I'm scared.

The good thing is that I finally feel backed against the wall/scared enough to do something about it. To finally cut through the resistance.

Ooooh, I just took a walk! Now if I can do it again, and again, and again.

Quiet can be nice, enjoy it.
Oh, yes! When everyone is gone, the house is empty, no tvs, no videogames, just peace and quiet. Then I can putter around the house and let MY presence fill the house.

But, some people (Matt!) need to learn to appreciate the peace and quiet of his own mind.

And what can you print with a $97 3D printer?

Back to the cardiologist Wednesday (I think) for more tests. He doesn't like the circulation in my left ankle or the sound of the arteries on the left side of my neck so I have tests to look at that. I'm hoping he'll have time to go over the results of the Haltor test but, I don't expect it. I just want him to fix this stuff. I get tired just walking the Abby Dabby dog out front to pee. Haven't taking her for a real walk in a couple of weeks now. I was up to a half mile and was working up to 3/4. Now I'll probably have to start from somewhere back towards the beginning. Oh well, how was you alls day?
@MattB101 - take it easy and I hope you are better soon.

Dang it Ken! I want one of those so bad. How does this one compare with the Tiko you got earlier?
It's about $100 less expensive.
Print quality on these lesser expensive models is not as fantastic as the more expensive ones, but well within tolerance.

Cool! Is the like all one piece, or is the rose separate?

all one piece. you use the rose as the handle for the box top. I have it inset into the top, with the leaves actually pressing into it for effect.
Oh, and here is the latest one I just printed:

At the risk of destroying what tiny shred of credibility I might still have around here ::

I will first, qualify the following statement by saying "I am as Hetero as it gets" .. and, I have 4 past wives that, if pressed, will tell you the same thing .. that said, I have leaned my entire life to the Female side of my brain, it's probably a 55/45 split .. and I believe that Males all have a Female brain side, whether we want to admit it or not .. since I am not a Woman, I cannot say if Females have a Male side of the brain ..

Many that make their livelyhoods thru some form of expression, create, entertain, etc and are Male, utilize that Female brain side .. I have worked with so many over the years, it is not uncommon, and I'm talking about fully straight men .. this, in and of itself, has given me what I consider a bit of a different perspective as it relates to Gender ..

I believe it is absolutely true that a Human can be born into the wrong Gender .. I do not need a study or a scientific paper to convince me of this ..

And, if you've never tried Ladies Lingerie .. well, I'll leave it at that .. ;)

I too have noticed I have a 'feminine side'... and I credit that for, as you said, much of my creativity among other things... and what little patience I'm able to muster at times.

I'm also, as you said, "As Hetero as it gets"... hence:

It's just the urge to nibble.

Me too... I've had that urge all my adult life :w00t:

I had to share this-- today is Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day!

Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day

Off to pop me some bubbles!

When the squadron in San Diego held a Christmas celebration for the kids, a helo delivered Santa. Among other things they had bubble wrap spread out on the floor of the hangar. The kids had a blast running around on it popping the bubbles! it was a riot.

Carrots, peas, and beans count as carbs. I'm only supposed to have about 45 grams of carbs/day. Not that I've been following that rule lately.

But, it's so out of control that I'm getting scared and desperate. So, I do intend to start following the rules again.

Maybe cucumber or zucchini for snacks? Or, plain chicken breast or tuna?

When I was on a low carb diet one of my snacks was a slice of ham rolled up in a slice of cheese. It was filling as well as delicious as lunch or a snack.

It's been a good day so far. I'm sitting on the floor sewing the ruffle on a bedskirt. Just one of the little jobs I've been putting off. Except for getting up off the floor it doesn't involve much exertion and it will feel good to get the chore crossed off my list.

You've had quite a big list for a long time, so maybe your body is telling you to slow down a bit? I sure hope they can get you back in shape quickly and that it's a quick fix. In the meantime waiting is the pits. Relax and read a book. It might take your mind off thinking about things until you have some answers.

I sometimes roll up low fat turkey and swiss (instead of using bread). Lately, I just cut them up in little squares to nibble on.

Great minds think alike.

There are lots of simple low carb foods and simple recipes. I'd be happy to help, if any of you are struggling. My daughter is Type 2 Diabetic and must eat low carb for every meal. It's easy to be overwhelmed or get tired of the same foods, so there are groups and websites now with tons of creative ways to keep it low carb. No one else in the family is diabetic, but we have basically switched to 90% low carb offerings and don't notice the difference much. (Except for my husband and his potato chips!):lol:

You got it! I will get some things together. Are you doing low carb due to blood sugar or something else? Are you on face book? I think some of the recipes are linked there, so if not, I will get a better way for you.
