Since it is just barely below freezing and the R150 is water proof I decided to do a little vaping on the back porch and took a picture to share with you all. Or should I have said Ya'wl?

But, I LOVE to be cooked for! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and loved.

Well, ya'd luv da next Odyssey, if we ever have 'nother one...

Lol! I used to do that with my daughter! The eyebrow thing was first. It was hilarious watching her try to wiggle her ears!

My gig was to have da daughters/G-babies wink wid just one eye. Dat and da ol' toes 'pick-em-up' challenge.

I ate so much chicken that the thought of chicken started to gag me. Must find some way for variety.
I'm going thru a yukky thing about chick, too.

Yepper, gotta totally agree. We're phowl phedup! Ergo, been eatin' a lotta phish/seaphood (pheathers vs. mercury)!

Last week I went as far away from chicken as I could think of. Corned beef, cabbage, carrots, & potatoes! Now I won't want that again for years!

Getting rid of the mercury is easy. With the cold weather just hang the fish outside and when the temperature drops cut off the tail. rimshot_zpsb9a65732.gif

Oh my! I love corned beef and cabbage. My wife was not a traditionalist when it came to holiday dinners. Besides corned and cabbage for Christmas and fried liver and onions for Thanksgiving, she always surprised us. Since the kids no longer live close to us, we are in Oklahoma City and the boys are in SE Texas. Prior to making plans for a visit on a holiday, they ask who is cooking before they commit to the trip.

Fried liver w/onions popped out of this post and it brought back one of the nicest memories! Amy (Mrs.C) made the most incredible liver & onions dish at the Odyssey........Everyone who ate it loved it!!!

My bride doesn't want me to ever have dat again! <talk 'bout cushion/sheet phluphphin'!>

Dere's a lil' story/family tale to tell 'bout my shift as a chow hall 'monitor' once at Lowery AFB. Fer anyone macho, even ya would cringe in da 'face' of da monumental consequence. Just think of lunch leftover sauerkraut and beenies & weenies fer supper, or maybe not.

Once I got home, l'll just say dat I was sooo proud at da time to toot da first two bars of Beethoven's Fifth... twice... <doubious braggin' rights>

And yes, Patty and I are still wedded!

Kinda like a Floridian mispronouncing 'Oregon' as "Ore-Gone'", LOL.

Thanks for sharing, y'all. I'd be pleased as punch to swap temperatures with you. I've got my window open with a window fan, to avoid having to run the A/C.

There's a restaurant in Hampton, VA called Goody's (would fit the Diners, Drive Ins and Dives definition of dive) that makes the best Reubins on Marble Rye I have ever had. Paired with probably the coldest beer in town it was my go to place for lunch.

I love them both. Ginny is not a big fan of Corned beef except for the great Corned beef hash she makes with the leftovers.
