Thank you for going to so much trouble for us. But, now I feel guilty for asking for a pic. It's a vicious circle, I tell ya!
It was not a problem, I should have gotten a pic before I packed it up.

That pen is the bomb, Diver! I'd avoid using that description when mailing the package, though. :thumb: On another subject, you're an RC quad pilot too, aren't you? You have a Blade-branded bird if I recall correctly, and you have flown as a member of a club or association, is that right? I haven't heard you talk about it recently.
Unfortunately, I live about a mile from Tinker AFB so I can't fly it at home and the club where I can fly is about 20 miles away. I know, excuses, excuses...

You must really love us. Beautiful! It looks like it would feel really good to write with.

That's a very interesting background. Is it a table top? A quilt?
Thank you, you are correct, I do love everyone one the forum. I wish I could afford to make an ink pen for everyone on the porches. It is a quilt that my wife made for me.

Maybe try using the cardboard roll from the paper towels... That would hold up to anything except being crushed and less threatening looking in an x-ray???
Where would the fun be in doing that?

That's gorgeous!! I LOVE purple heart! Those do look like they'd feel nice in the hand.
Thank you, I got hooked on making this style of ink pen because I liked how they feel in my hand.

The Bucket List is a fun movie.
I enjoyed that one a lot.. a good combination of humor, drama, and the uplifting message that it's never too late. Didn't hurt to have great actors in it.

... which leaves more time to fly again, maybe, after a nap. :thumb: :

the flying is great, but I just love your dancing! Always brings a smile to my face!

Same here!

Actually, I consider da drone flight as an opening act fer Dave's dancing; much like da pregame flyover at da Super Bowl...

So my appetite is pretty good. That's way more then I was eating prior to the protein change.

Dere's an understatement!

Speakin' of boneless fowl, at least once a month I fix a breakfast fer supper. Tossed a new easy keeper together last night:

Pkg Jimmy Dean Brown & Serve sausage links (12) - CRISPY, skin poppin' stage
Hash browns (4 frozen) - not just lil' crispy, but CRUNCHY
Perfect over easy eggs (4) atop da HBs - fully set white, completely runny yolk
Will definitely consume mo' in da future!

Well yesterday I had 2 eggs, 3 pieces of Spam, big slice of this grain and nut bread I like, for lunch I had a frozen dinner noodles alfredo that I like, for dinner I had a bbq'd boneless country style rib and a ton of green beans, an apple and 4 little graham crackers with cream cheese frosting in the middle, plus my 2 protein shakes. So my appetite is pretty good. That's way more then I was eating prior to the protein change.

Holy Moley! You keep eating like that you're gonna get fat!:D

I'm surprised if you can consume more without first making more. Insert here some not yet thunk up running jolk about a runny yolk.

Yeah isn't it weird I can eat that much and still lose weight?

You know I'm watching this Lockup series. Started with the newest and working back. I think what intrigues me the most about these is how scary especially when I take into consideration of how close I came to spending the rest of my life in prison when I was 26. It was a series of miracles that kept me out plus a lot of help from my mother and father but it's scary. If a couple of minor things that could've happened would've that's where I would be.

Well, I just finished cleaning out my guts. Tomorrow I get scoped from one end to the other. Just about ready to start drinking gatorade, but some gurgles yet, now and then.
Back home, and recovered from the 'scopy. Small hernia at the base of my esophagus. No scarring from the bleed a few months ago, and no ulcer. However, because of my diverticulosis (I saw a lot of little holes), wasn't clean enough, and she harvested a lot of polyps. So I have a redo in a few weeks, prescription of two jugs of the stuff to drink before! Fun, and the sedation was OK, saw a fantastic movie of my gut, but was totally out for the stomach view.

I've got a similar story or three, and I'll bet we can find others here who have them too. Watching Lockup in reverse order: you get out of jail younger and healthier than when you went in, then you go to court, and when you leave the courtroom you go and do something you shouldn't do but you don't get in trouble for it.

Were you witness to any polyp-noosings? Please tell me the name of your doctor because I'm due again for the procedure next year, and my doctor has switched to propofol, which doesn't have the fun factor of the movie-watching juice.

Yup, saw some being noosed, saw the report (minus pathology)-- I guess I missed a few (total seven). The largest was one cm, and almost had a stalk. Fentanyl and Midazolam

Thank goodness that discussion of medical procedures is approved for general consumption here. Love it! Yes, I'm gonna come find your doctor a year from now.

I don't like it that way I prefer profanol. Much better at least for me but I have a tolerance built up.

Yummy! I enjoy breakfast foods for dinner. Had waffles the other night. Leftover waffles went in the freezer for a time when I'm to lazy to fix something else.
That pen looks regal; like it should be a part of history! Beautiful...

Thank you. I'm taking a break in front of the workshop. I am at the polishing phase on a pen for myself. I'm making it out of Zebra Wood. It is a soft wood, really easy to work on. Yes, I will take a picture of it when I'm finished. I actually used my Sony DSLR to take the picture of the Purple Heart pen last night.

I will have to check that one out. I enjoyed the HBO (?) series OZ when it was on. I felt it was the most accurate series depicting prison.

You should be there just about now. Let us know!
They didn't really say much. Sleep Apnea. Pretty much knew that. They did an Rx for a Cpap, pretty much knew they would. Follow up in 2 months. Nothing bad though.

The Bucket List is a fun movie.
I agree, love that movie! I have it on DVD, but all of them are at my sil's house.

Hash browns (4 frozen) - not just lil' crispy, but CRUNCHY
Only way to do taters in my book, unless they're smashed taters. Then I do like making crispy tater cakes with the leftovers sometimes.

especially when I take into consideration of how close I came to spending the rest of my life in prison when I was 26.
yipes! Glad that didn't happen

If they get me in there for it once, don't think they'd get me back in for a redo. Glad it's over and nothing really bad was found.

Have you asked the AFB if they'd mind moving 4 miles further down the road?
