Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive. Been busy as a one legged man in an azz kicking contest. Hanging light, throwing out furniture, fixing plumbing and a bunch of other stuff. By the time I think about getting on the computer I've been too tired to think straight. Hopefully things will settle down soon. We are trying to get the house ready for the delivery of our stuff and to do that we have to get rid of all the old stuff. Lotta work. I miss you all and am not even trying to keep up right now. When I came online today i was over 500 messages behind. Sorry.

Glad to know that at least you're all right. I think you're gonna need a vacation when you're finally all settled!

or whatever "normal" means for me.

i walk a bit slower than before, but at least i can still walk. and i can actually drive. big win.

the last time i fell was taking out the garbage, which i still have to do tonight. i'll try to update tomorrow

We never have any spooks, but I have my 83-year-old mother with me, and she's a sweets fiend. So, every year I pretend we need Halloween candy and buy a big bag. She runs through it in a matter of days.

We never have any spooks, but I have my 83-year-old mother with me, and she's a sweets fiend. So, every year I pretend we need Halloween candy and buy a big bag. She runs through it in a matter of days.

I usually shop the after holiday sales & stock up. I don't normally have much of a sweet tooth. My weakness is ice cream. My mother has a mouthful of sweet teeth, tho. I stock up & hide it from her & bring it out a little at a time. she'll eat it till there's nothing left.

I'm ready for all of the Ghost, Goblins, and other little creatures. Candy is by the door, outside light on and my dog is relegated to the laundry/garage. I think this is the first year since we moved to Oklahoma City that I am not in a costume of some kind.

I stopped giving candy out a couple of years ago when the time it took me to open the door was enough for them to egg the house and my car. No thanks I will leave the lights out and the kids are SOL.

No one has showed up, so I put my bag of bags of chips on the porch, and shut the door. Interesting to see if they are still there in the morning.

Mary, did dat earlier evening due to out fer dining. Came back and not only was da 'treats' gone, but also da glass bowl!

No mo' t&t' fer us, nor dem ('cept fer our G-kids)...

Hey, I still can 'salute'! Oh, wait, yeah, good point...

At least I'm not under a deepening Weiner probe!

Like some have mentioned, I FF through most all commercials .. however, I have been keeping the TV on the ViceLand Channel these last few nights and, although it won't be everyone's cup of tea, it's what I would like to think, other channels will begin to use as a template at some point .. if you've not seen it, it's worth at least a look at the line up on line ..

We don't get trick or treaters. They take the kids to a mall and t&t there. Man, when I was a kid we would go out, fill a bag, drop it at home and go out again, and again. But it's not the same world out there. Change sucks..
