I am very disappointed in myself for jumping all over
@garyoa1 for an innocent comment he made a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to exile myself from the Porch for a while. I apologize, Gary, for taking the comment way too seriously. Because I didn't want to sacrifice over $2K worth of drones? At about 3:20, I did a high speed pass at just 4' above the other drone. Fun, but not very bright, to count on the altitude readings being that accurate. It certainly wasn't possible to actually see from the ground that there was any difference in altitude between the two drones.
Trip to Marietta was great. The travel bug bit me recently and I'm going to Asheville this coming weekend.
Mike, my drone buddy, is a mailman in the office from which I retired. He bought one of my drones, with accessories, for an excellent price, only 40% of what I paid a year ago for the drone plus a set of polarized and neutral density lenses. Good deal for both of us. The drone that Mike bought is the same drone that I used when filming "a trip to the mailbox" for which Uncle Willie created an entertaining narrative a good while back.
Another letter carrier from my former office is a fan of my videos and wants to learn about drone flying. She will visit one of these days.
Even though it's theoretically possible that maneuver could be accomplished, that was a fake video.
