I might have let it drop of you had not intimated that I was lying.

If you qualify for cost assistance, which you said you do, a Marketplace Plan can’t cost you more than 9.5% of your income after tax credits are applied ..

Russ, based on what I've said to you in the past, you should know I like you, I really do .. let's just bury the "hatchet" (I know you have a nice one and know how to use it .. ;)) .. at the same time, I may be substantially older, but I warn you, I can put up a Hell of a Fight .. so just don't try and bury that hatchet in my head, buddy .. :)

No worries there, I never get angry about politics and I never think less of a person just because they disagree with me. Plus I respect you too much to take a swing at you.

Modern Love Story by Older Folks

An elderly couple had just learned how to send text messages on their mobile phones.
The wife was a romantic type and the husband was more of a no-nonsense guy.

One afternoon the wife went out to meet a friend for coffee. She decided to send her husband a romantic
text message and she wrote: "If you are sleeping, send me your dreams. If you are laughing,
send me your smile. If you are eating, send me a bite. If you are drinking, send me a sip.
If you are crying, send me your tears. I love you."

The husband texted back to her . . . "I'm on the toilet . . . please advise."

Well good news. Alyssa found the owner of the doggie. She lives 2 houses down and has been working 16 hour days. She just got her 2 weeks ago and hasn't had a chance to update the chip, so Alyssa is taking her home after work. Good thing the ladies friend saw Alyssas notice with pic in FB and told her and she messaged her. Glad she was a good enough person not to take her to the pound. Her Goofball doggie will be much happier now. So that all worked itself out.

Well all the talk at the VA was no one wants either one and also talking insurance with $12000 deductibles. And Willie I think either one will be the collapse of society as we know it.

That, my friend, whether we like it or not, is what will play out in just about exactly one week ..

The best solution I ever saw for rural kids was when we were living in the country in southern Minnesota. The church down the road from us set up for tailgate trick or treating. Everyone in the area, not just church members, was invited, All the families with kids (or who just liked giving out candy) would drive to the church parking lot, and hand out treats from their trunk or tailgate. All the kids got their candy and could show off their costumes, and the adults got to see the costumes and sit around and socialize. The years the weather was too bad out they could move into the meeting room in the church basement.
That's a great idea. I really miss the Halloween of my childhood. Back in the days before Stranger Danger and razor blades in apples. I lived in a small neighborhood of about 12 blocks. Halloween was a 12-block block party. There were no streets. They were filled with kids having fun everywhere you looked.

Yep we are undecided whether to each vote for the opposite thus nullifying our vote or go with a 3rd party which will have the same effect. At the VA they were talking like they are voting for the VP cause they don't figure either one will make it to term. One lady said Pence was ok in her view I didn't even get into that. On the news people were on there and they want a do over. Cray days I think with all this data that is available to us now will be the downfall of this country. TMI things were in some ways better when we got our news from the Paper and Local news.

In all of our voting lives we have never seen such a distasteful "choice"; we decided we'll vote with the Supreme Court choices in mind.
And then take hot showers.

Hope it's not T Mobile. Unlimited data when you can find a signal. Had some family that got that and it was terrible. Verizon is the best IMO and AT&T next.
We went with Verizon after Both Sprint and AT&T failed at us getting a signal INSIDE the house. It really stunk having to go outside in Louisiana heat to make a phone call. Verizon no problems at all works great even inside.

And the problem with that is like they were saying they plan to appoint ones that think exactly like them, is that what we want? They are supposed to be impartial, Right?
