Great work Russ. Precious is a doll. I love pugs, the last one we had for 15 years. We had to make the hard decision to put her down due to renal failure. She was in too much pain and it wasn't getting any better.

Do I have it right in my mind that Kodi is a lot like Plex? I had Plex and liked it for a while but only seemed to be able to watch a movie by downloading it first. Plex then served more or less as a storage and viewing device. Some of the movies had links but didn't seem to work most of the time.

Anyway, the computer where I had it died, and I haven't bothered to get it on my new computer. From the little I've read, Kodi might be a bit better for someone like me that just wants to watch movies on the computer. Any thoughts?

With KODI, you don't download, it just streams along.

I just watched The Beverly Hillbillies (movie) and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, back to back. I'll bet no one has ever done that before. One of the movies was horrid but the other one was worse.

My daughter managed somehow to break the tank on her toilet Saturday night. I was up very late soaking up the water that had flooded. Using towels until they were dripping wet. Washing said towels. Then drying. Then repeat the whole process a few times. Until morning.

Maintenance gave her a brand new toilet today. Maybe I should go break my tank. This apartment complex doesn't change out old toilets no matter how nasty and stained they are. But, now she has a nice shiny new toilet!

Ugh! What a mess! That's a job to clean up, too.

Yes, my usual standard for "good enough" was temporarily but significantly re-calibrated due to a need to get away from watching the late night re-runs of election coverage shows that I'd already watched earlier in the evening.

I do generally enjoy Kevin James, but Mall Cop 2 was quite inferior to Mall Cop 1.

The portrayal of Granny by Cloris Leachman in The Beverly Hillbillies movie was so true to the portrayal of Granny in the original TV show that I could have sworn it was the same actress, but no, the original actress was Irene Ryan. Jed, Ellie May, Jethro and Ms Hathaway were also well cast. Rob Schneider played the bad guy, and he was pretty good too.

The plots of both movies were apparently written in about 30 seconds by a 2-year-old who was distracted at the time by a squirrel.

That is such a hard decision to make and such a loving one at the same time. During my years in veterinary medicine I saw so many of our patients linger and suffer needlessly because their owners couldnt make that decision.

They had a little storm in El Paso last night. Alyssa sent me some aftermath pics they even had a tornado.

Holy Cow!!! Glad that wasn't right where she lived.

A little break from the kodi talk... I gotta brag!!!!!!

This weekend the IACBA (International All-Breed Canine Association) held a weekend of shows in Ocala, 4 shows in 2 days. It's a wonderful, informal, fun format. The judges rate the dogs (most excellent, excellent, very good, good, etc). You need 3 most excellent ratings for the International Title, you don't have to "win" to earn your championship. It's all about the dog. Plus the judges give a written critique on each dog. Yea, long days, BUT!!

Not only did we (Geordi and I) walk away with enough most excellent ratings to get our International Championship (every judge gave him a V-1), we got 1 Herding Group 2, 3 (count 'em 3!) Herding Group 1s, AND, drum roll please, 1 BEST IN SHOW!!!!!!! Needless to say, I am floating on air! Geordi was fantastic!
