How do you make it so you can allow anyone to invite anyone to your conversation? I thought conversations here are between two people.
When you start a conversation, there are checkboxes that give you the option to allow participants in the conversation to add others to the conversation.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the way "conversations" work when they're used in this manner, because I don't want to get notifications every time there is a new post in what is really a topic rather than a conversation. But if I "leave" the conversation in order to stop getting the notifications, then I'm no longer able to view any of the posts that have ever been posted in the conversation. I wish there was a better way, but I haven't put a lot of thought into trying to figure out what better way there might be.
One thing for sure: the complexities of TV and Internet know-how are both
A) excellent opportunities to learn new and useful stuff
and
B) humbling challenges to my "wanna believe" that I'm smart enough to grasp this stuff without working hard at it.
... no notifications while still havin' access, if included.

Oh wait... ya did learn how to provide awesome airborne vid content on at least two diff QC platforms (not countin' da vid editing/music/YouTube capabilities)!

Me either, like you can't book mark a particular post in the convo. But it's the only way I know to have a 'private/controlled membership' thread on ECF.

Y'all are doin' a fantastic job! Luv your efforts. Hopefully others in your community will appreciate and pay, if ya decide to expand.
I don't want to disable all conversation notifications, because then I wouldn't see one-on-one conversations. Or, maybe I'm just not understanding what you're saying. Currently, I get a new notification any time someone posts in the Tech Talk thread.
On another subject, my upload/download speeds are low compared to any of y'all's, but it's the fastest available to me at any price. 10 Mbps download max, often slower, and less than 1 Mbps upload. Streaming to my TV via wi-fi usually suffers from buffering but I've got a wi-fi booster on the way from Amazon that might help with that.

My daughter managed somehow to break the tank on her toilet Saturday night. I was up very late soaking up the water that had flooded. Using towels until they were dripping wet. Washing said towels. Then drying. Then repeat the whole process a few times. Until morning.
Maintenance gave her a brand new toilet today. Maybe I should go break my tank. This apartment complex doesn't change out old toilets no matter how nasty and stained they are. But, now she has a nice shiny new toilet!
