I knew right away!!! I read all reviews so I can continually write what people are wanting to read. The series will have the same characters, but the story line for the next book comes from the last. We don't know if Richard's financial partner and friend committed suicide or was murdered in book one...book two picks up there.

Oh goodie! I will one of the first to buy it. I love that kind of story.

Then 3 days at the Canyon. Then we dropped down to Phoenix to visit my mom for a few days. Then to Tucson for 2 days to decompress post mom and show the hubby some things I loved from when I lived in Tucson years ago. Then 3 days drive home.

Wow! I know someone from Phoenix. She thinks it gets hot in Tucson, which is about all I need to know - having been through Phoenix.

And while we're on the backup subject, consider keeping two backup flash drives or portable backup hard drives. I keep everything that is on my computer, including copies of my software on two very large flash drives that I keep in my purse. I know if my house burned down I would be grabbing it. The reason for two flash drives instead of a single one is because, like anything else, they sometimes become corrupt and you can't extract anything from them.

Of course there are many ways to back up pretty much everything on the cloud but I don't trust clouds or the companies that run them. For instance iphones have this app called Keychain for storing sensitive info and Apple says they cannot access it. I don't believe them. A good hacker can get into anything. Look what happened with Target, the DOD. I suggest that the best place for sensitive info, aside from paper files if you like those, is in your hot little hands.

I do a manual disc image at least monthly, to a normally disconnected USB hard drive. If it's not connected to anything, it can't be touched. And automatic file backup to two other usb drives weekly, of all the critical stuff. Yep, duplication is important.

And I agree whole-heartedly about the cloud. It will be hacked, no matter what they say. Or inaccessible due to a DDOS attack like earlier this week.

And, being way out in the sticks, I just can't see backing up half a gig over my slow dsl!!
