You can put longer drip tips on it

Sent from a dark, twisted corner of the back porch, covered in cobwebs and slightly damp.

Love anything Connelly! Did you know that Amazon did an Amazon Originals show of Bosch? It's named for him & the first 2 season's are based on the book Trunk Music. I like James Lee Burke, bothe John & Faye Kellerman, h when those get old I like Clive Cussler. Janet Evanovitch is my go to for funny.
Oh yeah, James Lee Burke is another I will check out without reading the blurb. He has a daughter (Alifair, of all things) who is also good, but not especially prolific. John and Faye Kellerman are good, but the have a son whose books I will never open the cover of. I cannot stand Clive Cussler, but I'll pass on explain the dislike.

OMG! Janet Evanovitch is a hoot. My wife got me hooked on the Stepanie Plum series. As soon as one came out my wife would get it and literally be laughing out loud. She never said anything until I read it. I would be reading it and laughing and she would ask which part I was laughing about.

Me too. While I love the Bosch books I like the Mickey Haller character itself ever better. I wish Connelly would write another one. It's been years. I havent read any books by Connely I didnt like and I've read all of them. After Grisham he's my favorite writer. And both have a new one View attachment 609091
I love Connelly! Both series, and Grisham, Patterson, Iris Johansson, etc... Plus D Michael Olive (my brother) amd now Seapeach!

I could never live in a place with am HOA. We rented a townhouse once and the neighborhood busy body told is they can come in and inspect at any time. We advised against it because we are armed. We moved as soon as we could.

Hmmm never read Johansson…any particular book? From Patterson my faves are the Bennett books, then the murder club and Private series.

And yes if anyone tried to just walk in my house they would have a nasty surprise…we are armed too.
I do know about the Amazon series but that actor playing him just doesnt cut it for me so I havent watched it.

Have you read Greg Iles's Natchez Burning trilogy - well the first two books because the third one wont be out until next year. He is my third fave mystery author Although his books are more historical fiction. And that Natchez trilogy really gives insights in the deep south.

Great books if you like murder mysteries. Every one of them!

If you havent read any Grisham books try those too. My all time fave mystery writer. Aside from writing a great story, his writing is so beautiful. He paints pictures with words!

Saving for reading inspiration. Now I can find them when I need inspiration.

HOAs? I was shocked when I heard about them. People are willing to pay that kind of money for people to control their lives just to keep property values up? Does it really? To me, it greatly de-values the property.

    It's inconceivable!

And, that coming into your house stuff? That's against the law. Any contract that has contents that includes things that are against the law is an invalid contract. That's my opinion. But, I'm a bit old-fashioned and behind the times.

I agree!! I can see value in insuring your neighbor keeps his property maintained & junk cars or broken toilets away, but so many of them go entirely too far. Control freaks.

Oh yes! Stephanie Plum, Joe, Ranger, and her Grandma. What a hoot! Hum, I haven't read her latest adventure. Gotta fix that.

Looks like we will have to hope Carol comes to save the day,, in a year or so.........yikes,,, I don't expect many to live that long given their new landlord's taste for murder.

Did you see the "preview ''for next week? Morgan is pushing around Carol in a wheelchair! In the Kingdom of all places!! ( No, not the heavenly one, the one with the lion):)

And i'm SO glad that Daryl didn't get batted into eternity , he's my favorite and if he'd been offed I would've had to throw a major fit and personally boycotted the show....

well at least for a while:)

P.S. did anyone watch the 11/2 hour Talking Dead right after? It was heartbreaking!
