When my wife was stationed in Kuwait during Desert Storm, we sent T-shirts to each other. The one I sent her had my aftershave lotion on it and hers had her favorite perfume on it. Using them as a pillow cover helped being separated from her when I went to bed and vice-versa.

What a magnifi(s)cent idea!

Better not see a clown tonight I'm watching Stephen Kings It

Ummm, guess no 'hangout' fer moi tonight...

This arrived yesterday:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O2M7N48/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think...hope...I did good. I'll have to use it inside as there's no antennae outside...besides, according to the website it'll work fine inside. But I didn't realize it was so big and heavy!!! They have a no. to call for help, which I did last night, to ask just where i can place it cuz I don't dare hang it on these flimsy walls.

Anyway, we talked for about 20 mins. and he's sending me, within three days, a 20 ft. cable ( the length being determined after I measured the distance from the tv outlet to the dining room counter where it'll sit)

I CUT THE CABLE!!!!:D

Now I'm feeling so brave n frisky I might even start using my cellphone on a regular basis and then eliminate the landline! ( Tho I think that'll be a long time from now..)

Meet Me in St Louie Louie
Of course, rest assured I turned 18 last year.....ha ha ha!
In case anyone is interested. Tomorrow is my 6 month anniversary off of the stinkies! I'm super proud. After over 22 years of smoking I can say...
Is it ok if I'm under 65? At least I'm more than halfway there!
Nope, I'm just sitting here in my recliner enjoying the nice company
I actually had to scrape ice off my windshield this morning...but at least the soggy weather is over, for now!
I absolutely LOVE the idea of the front and back porch...brilliant!

And so, the Dossier compilation begins .. what do we know so far .. ?? She's a she, and of age, yet under 65 / thusly, estimated to be in the mid 30's, has been off the Cig addiction now for 6 months, owns a recliner, which is a commonality, since I use a recliner on the Porch, does not like soggy weather nor windshield ice, digs the Porch idea .. ;)

Don't be creeped out by my writing, if you hang around long enough, you'll likely grow to dislike it as much as some others do .. It is a long running Porch tradition that new folks outline a bit of themselves, just as an intro, you understand .. :)

although I can't recommend it, since it's a long time commitment, many here have compiled quite complete and impressive bios on themselves over the course of years .. so, if you ever have the inclination, Page One of any Back Porch thread contains links to previous incarnations ..

Many visit, some stay, I will requisition a Welcome Wagon visit with our usual assortment of household goods and other essentials .. although you may not even know what a Welcome Wagon is .. :)

Love that photo! So glad he's back in Kuwait. How long now til he's CONUS? Glad his prezzies didn't wander off before he got em!
Sometime in March. He's still waiting to sew on which is what they call it now when you get promoted. He can't do it till he is set up with a date for ALS Airman Leadership School which is in New Mexico so he is trying to get a waiver so he can re up as E5 6k difference in bonus plus he wants to do it over there so there will be no IRS bills but he has 30 days to do it once he is back. He's got 5 1/2 years in of a 6 year enlistment going to re up for 4 more. The ALS is 5 weeks but he has to have 2 weeks at home when he gets back. He'll go for the 5 weeks to NM coming home on the weekends it's a 2 1/2 hour drive each way. USAF is a lot tougher on rank then the Army it seems to me. I think he will be able to work on it more now that he is back in Kuwait with his computer.

I'm not creeped out at all!
If you think I'm in my 30's, go up about 10 years! [emoji4]
