He and his bride are fine. Doree and I are as well.
That's great to hear.

A memory not exactly from out of the blue, but unearthed by a Nutella commercial. There was this stuff that came in a round waxed cardboard container. These days, the container would be made of plastic. It was found in the refrigerated shelves at the grocery, near the butter, eggs and cottage cheese. It's possible that it was a combination of whipped honey and butter or margarine. The colder it was, the harder it was to spread, similar in that way to peanut butter. Made perhaps by Sealtest or Breakstone or Borden.
I don't remember the name of the stuff. Ring any bells?
Yeah that icloud is a bargain compared to Verizons, the guy at verizon recommended it over their own. I upped mine to 50gb for .99 a month. I will put the stuff I had on Verizon on there but you can put all your music, photos, documents anything on there which makes it nice, I think when I get home I'm going to give itunes a try they have a free 3 months to really give it a good try. I like the idea of having all my favorite music and push it through BT to my new hearing aids. I am pretty sure that the VA will have much better hearing aids then they did 5 years ago. All electronic equipment seems to advance so fast.I didn't even know it existed. I'll have to google it. Or if you find out before me, let me know. I did already see something about iCloud connected phones. So I don't know it that's implying only between iPhones or not.
Thats good to hear, no major damage for anyone. How did Seapeaches new house fair I wonder. It didn't damage any of the bridges did it.Florida vapers Seapeach, Clnire and Ken_A have marked themselves as "safe" on a FB page.

Oh yeah the app is free but the subscription is 9.99 a month after that to download all the music you want.

I'm so glad you, DH, & pups & your place are ok!I am fine. No power but fortunately a generator. Some roof problems but we were already contracted for a new roof tomorrow. May not happen tomorrow due to emergencies, but we will take pictures and file insurance and perhaps get help with the cost.
Seeing as I expected to not have a house at all, the relief is overwhelming.

Yeah Mike I wondered that. How about if you get your music somewhere else and store it on iCloud. You are talking it is only yours as long as you are a subscriber to iTunes or iCloud. iCloud you remain a subscriber forever because it is free but do you mean that any music you download from iTunes is only available if you subscribe to iTunes. That doesn't really seem fair to me, you have basically paid for the music. I know all the books I bought while subscribed to the Amazon book service remained mine so I am still able to bring them up to continue reading. Can't remember the service off the top of my head. Just looked and it is Audible checked and all are still available to listen to but my old phone was not real good at that. Will be much better now. Gotta listen to the rest of Dylans book for sure.Oh Pat, never mind. I forgot about Apple Music ... that's the subscription you're probably talking about. Yep you can listen to a ton of music with it. Just remember though, you can only do it as long as you are a subscriber. It's not like you get to download a ton free music then cancel the subscription.

iPhone is coming out with a new iPhone, the iPhone X. I love the one I have and feel no interest at all at even thinking about it. I wonder how the iOs 11 will be. I ordered my phone with 64gb of memory which my Gdaughter recommended which now I see that was a good choice. Was going to order 128gb but she told me that was mainly for people who have movies, stuff that really uses a lot of memory. I'm glad I did since they have no expansion capabilities. Should be more then I ever use with the availability of iCloud for a buck a month.
