That face! She's so cute! Is that her shocked face?
The feeling of accomplishment I got out of it made it major for me, I will freely admit.

My niece has been good lately about keeping the family supplied with pictures of the newest members. Here, from Le Quatorze Juillet (July 14th) is my great-niece Lida at 5 months, 5 days. A joyful picture!

Don't shoot the messenger, but it's my understanding that gray or white hair is used for purposes other than wigs. Please let me know if I'm wrong about that.
Since Locks of Love use the donated hair to make wigs for children they do not use gray hair. Donations of gray hair are sold to cover manufacturing cost.

Hubs who works at the appliance section at Lowes says, that if asked by customers, they are supposed to say to expect about 5 years from the new ones

 Dang, that's a sorry indication of the quality going into appliance products today.

What a great picture to see first thing this morning! What a bright spot in your day. I think you should print out several copies and just post them around your house!

Well I read today this is the 4th hottest year on record only beat by 2015,16,and 17. Hmmm Still think Global Warming is a hoax Don. Looks to me like AC is the business to be in these days. I've always wondered when I was in S Dak working coal trains and you Texans should know about this. They had 3 or 4 different coal fired power plants in Texas that each had 3 sets of 110 car, dedicated trains just for them. The one I remember the best was the Amarillo trains, for some reason they were always higher priority then other trains, translates to better trips. Are they still using coal there as one of their main sources of power?

Yesterday's high was 97! In all the years we've lived here it's never been this high. June-August, our hottest months, we've averaged 85-90 with a few above 90 but never 97.
Same here till the last 4 years. When we first moved here 20 years ago we would get up into the 90s a few days in August and even an occasional 100 but never just continuous like it has been with no relief in sight. Lots of Wildfires, none really close though but it would only take 1 cigarette .... and it would explode.
