Too funny. I can't think of a better name for a horse that is the fastest horse at a quarter mile, though.
Ah Ha! A long, long, long time ago I think I might have known that. But wouldn't it mean that there could only be 1 quarter horse at a time if it's the fastest? Shows you how much I know about horses...
Today is not a good day for me to do any serious thinking. It hasn't stopped raining all day and it's cold.
Stormy here for two days. I was actually afraid of the lightning last night.
And yeah, they clock the horses just like runners to get their best time. I used to work for a thoroughbred racehorse owner. Sad what happens to them after they are 'retired'. Lots of rescues out there.

A long time ago in a galaxy far away, when I was young, I had a retired thoroughbred race horse. He was a great hunter/jumper!

I love Appy's, had one for my daughter. she is looking to get a Tennessee Walker now that she has moved to Tenn. lol
