Am looking at seriously comfy seating for back porch. and two for the front. Love sitting, reading, painting, all things that don't include excersize, really, outside. Listening to the kookaburras, love em, I thought there were monkeys the first time I heard them.lol

Good afternoon everybody. I missed morning. Slept in knowing for the next three days I'll be babysitting grandchildren while Mama goes to visit Oma in hospice in GA. I'm glad to be able to do it for her, but need your prayers to get through it. I've had them for a day and overnight, but never three in a row.

Good luck w/ that. If we have Miles 2 days in a row we need 3 days to recuperate.

LOL! I find that amusing (the thread not a particular post)because my wife and I just got back from her 3yr post colon cancer colonoscopy! That has a lot to do with why I haven't been online as much the last few years, I used to be pretty active on ecf but we had a bit of a medical adventure that kept us occupied for awhile. She is doing well now and her scope was perfect.

This was just down the Yukon River from Dawson City, Yukon. We had a 12' boat so did some sightseeing. 1958

This is my Uncle Shorty the Clam Diggers sweetheart. Check that bucket of clams. We'd go back to his place 300' of beach frontage on one of the San Juan Islands and have a big beach fire and cook up all the little steamers YUMMM

@2legsshrt Thanks for sharing the pics of 1958. A friend wrote a book in which an old river boat like that played a part. Would love to have been able to explore it. These look like happy memorable times. Your mom was very pretty and you were quite a handsome young lad. Now I know where you got your good looks.
