Well don't know if we're going to get out of here today. Ginny's RA and fasciitis is giving her grief today. She woke up feeling like crap, can't hardly walk. I figured it would be me.
I'm sorry, Pat. I hope this is only a short delay, and she's much better by tomorrow!

Repair person isn't coming until Thursday for my lightning-fried junction box. The thick and heavy cylindrical metal cover was blown completely off it by a lightning strike, and the gazillions of wires look pretty toasted.

I think I might go make a quad video, then head to an Internet cafe in town so that I can upload it to YouTube. I know there was such a cafe 6 years ago but don't know if it's still there, even though it was/is right next door to my insurance agent who I went to see less than two months ago.

Dave notices everything, said no one ever.

Damn Dave how close was that to your house? Must've been quite a storm.

Since I haven't read back, I wasn't sure if this had been posted. I'm elated to be home, but devastated over Gabriel. I wish y'all could have met him (other than Iffy of course since he did meet him) Such a wonderful young man who was truly getting his life together. Peach, y'all and his family are so in my prayers. Still just can't process this. I'm grateful he got his life turned around and that he didn't suffer.

Thanks cathy! Great to be home

Oh, and my brother's books are all available on Amazon for $2.99 each (Kindle). Search author MichaelOlive, The Angel of Death series, starting with "The Angel of Death and the Demon" and The Death Whisperer series, starting with "The Death Whisperer".

Thing is, he has a PhD in microbiology, eight patents, and numerous professional publications on microbiology and genetics. He also was a professional bass guitarist, writes a blog on guitarists (that's where I have found some of the best guitar music DMichaelOlive) and a self confessed science, art, music and wine geek. That's my Big Brother!!! (and my only blood sibling, poor guy).
He sounds fascinating! And busy!

Young as he was, his debts were paid, he'd made his amends, his soul had been saved and he was ready. Milt, the guy he went to church with every Sunday, stopped by. He's having a tough time, but said Gabe had gotten Baptized last Sunday and the Lord decided to take him before he had a chance to screw it up cause he needed him. He hadn't told us about that. Yes, it's personal, and we learned through a third party. Not our peace. Gabriel's peace.

That box is around 500 feet away, where the telephone line goes underground.

Also had electric damage separately.

My neighbor got it worse than me.

Unrelated: I used too much vinegar, proving that it is not impossible.

While that isn't me, it sure does depict what I've been doing outside......reflecting and appreciating....while hubby watches me while I enjoy myself.

It got hot out there and is the reason I'm in now, but come 4 pm, we're both out there again.

Oh, good morning, Porchers!
I love to sit in the garden. Relax, read, sip my sweet tea, then once in awhile wander around & find something that needs doing. Deadheading, finding that new weed & pulling it. I love a good garden!
