Before I post the link I do need to say that if you have an aversion to middle East war, PTSD or other issues with soldier/enemy situations, this game is not for you. It's called Sniper Team and you are 4 different snipers in 4 different locations, trying to defend a mobile missile in the center of a city. It's not particularly graphic but does involve shooting enemy troops, so........ It also takes a while to load, at least on my system/server but well worth the wait if it IS your cup of tea.Okay, here's the link.............
Sniper Team
Howdy Kazz! Oh man! Don't remind me!!!The trees are already starting to go yellow & orange. Not that that's not pretty but it seems like we only had one really nice week of weather all "Summer" and Fall is already rushing up on us!!!
The garden has been devastated. The Red Leaf Lettuce got completely wiped out, the Walla-Walla Onions might be big enough for use in martinis, the peas didn't even fill two zip lock baggies and the Brussels Sprouts are "trying" but I don't think they're gonna do much either. The Romaine morphed into some kind of "individual leaf" plant, although they do look delicious and will probably yield at least a few salads. The second run of radishes are only so-so as far as the leaves go, hopefully the Radishes themselves got bigger than that last pathetic batch! Oh well. It was worth a try and it was enjoyable tending to it as long as we did. We'll have a good bed to transplant the wild Strawberries and Raspberries in, if nothing else.

We may go the green house route next Summer.

Yeah, I know that you had said the garden got hammered by all the rain. And I should probably apologize... I actually laughed at your description of the Romaine... I know that part of the fun in gardening is the actual "gardening" part, but it would frustrate me to no end for all that work to end up getting wiped out like that. The green house doesn't sound like a bad idea, though. At least the crops would be protected from the rain and critters!
