No, not really. Been ripping and running and went to work Sunday and Monday to cover for my opposite. There was a death in her family. Doctor appointment......run....run...run...

so sorry to hear about the death in her family. well dangit, hopefully you can at least sleep good this week at work when you get off, and get some rest next off time.

I'm just about ready to shut down my checking account. I was hit last year and the year before around the end of August. I thought I had made it through this year. But, no. They just waited until October then hit my account with 20 fraudulent charges all in one day!

Today I see that they tried to put another fraudulent charge through with the old card number. How could the bank have allowed it? The card number hasn't been valid for almost a week. The bank did catch it, of course. How could they not?

This is getting old.

So sorry to hear that........just glad you got the flights paid for before that happened! I know you said it was likely local, but if/when you do buy online, make sure you test the site first through this site that retired gave us.

If you have free checking, one thing you might wanna consider (although it won't help with local purchases) is opening a 2nd acct. Before you shop online, transfer the money you need for purchase into 2nd one, happens immediately online, then shop with the 2nd card. Just leave 10.00 or whatever in there to keep it open. I hate credit cards, but they do come in handy for stuff like that.

Well, I perused the thread quickly, and so glad I saw this.......so refreshing after the chaos.

@Flowersoul and @bigbells, isn't electricity wonderful?! Almost as good as home sweet home ...

It surely is! Having it restored made our home sweet again!

We still have a lot of work to do gathering branches but only doing about an hour each day cause muscles are sore all over! I'm coming to the conclusion that Mother Nature started this, and she can finish with the the cleanup. Leaves can stay right where they are, making good mulch.

It's the folks in N.C. who are suffering so badly......my heart and prayers go out to them.

And just where is your post today where you show yourself and your personal environment? No one is making you watch mine. Sheesh, sorry I have such low tolerance for criticisms of the exposition of my actual life. I mean, I'm really really sorry that I can't see the humor but I'm perfectly capable of no longer posting my quad copter videos here. I'm thinking that would be for the best.

Then, you'll no longer have to worry about the fact that I'm so unreasonably incapable of differentiating between those comments which are humorous and those comments which are critical about these videos which are so personal to me. Since I regard them as personal, I should know better than to share them here until such time as I develop thicker skin.

Just enter a date before 1995. Pretty much, the article says what the title says. FDA supposedly submitted the request to OMB, last week. Looking for confirmation, now.
