Heres one closer to you Haines, Alaska then
Yup, that's the way I remember the road through town back then. In fact the whole Alcan! Nothing but mud, muck ruts and rocks!Yeah I bet it has here is a picture of the old theatre in Dawson City, I see they have refurbished it now but then it was just like it was except for sinking in places from the perma-frost says built in 1899
Yep I think some of his work and a couple other books is what gave my Dad the obsession for the North. Then I caught it. I had been there 3 times before the Army sent me there for 2 years and couldn't have been a better place then Ft. Greely. Really out in the sticks or at least it was from 67-69. Loved it but never got far from Washington State once I got out of the service.Ah yes, Robert Service! "The Shooting of Dan McGrew" and "The Cremation of Dan McGee". Two greats form the bard of the Yukon! When recited properly, they paint an amazing picture! Always fascinated me as a kid. Movies, we didn't need no stinking movies!
I'm going to have to dig up another poem from an anonymous source, written in Seward about the same time. It really hits home for any who have ever been here. I'll see what I can do............
I'm using an iPad which stores everything on my camera roll, but if I hit the image icon on here, it asks for a URL? Apparently can't access images on this site, although it took my avatar painting from the roll. I'll call my AppleCare tech support guys, if I have something I really want to post. Thank you.View attachment 550787

My first camera was an Argus C3 Rangefinder. I even had a 300mm telephoto for it. My brother had married a girl whose father owned a camera store. My dad went to him and ask for a decent camera for a 15 year old and that's what he sold him. Cheap azz could have parted with something a little more recent. What I really wanted was a SLR. Wasn't going to happen. We took them on an old Argus 35mm camera.
Not an owl but I do believe it's some type of raptor. Maybe a hawk or kestrel.A who? Strangest lookin awol i ever seed. Looks a lot like a grouse.

Wanna bet?No, an outside executor was appointed at the request of that sister. Under Minnesota law, there's no difference in inheritance rights between siblings and half-siblings. The 6 of them will divvy things up evenly. I know we all tend to look for infighting and drama but it doesn't appear that Prince's siblings are going to provide any.
Slide film stands up much better than print negative film. I ran a service bureau doing high end scans when I retired from the Navy. My clients were printers and I made the color separations and did scanning and layout as well.Yeah they were good pics but I couldn't believe that after being in the garages that long with 90+ and -0- degrees they stayed that good. Must be Kodachrome as Paul Simon says about it.
I find the easiest way is post them to my Photobucket account and then post the IMG link using the little chain looking (link) icon. That way I don't have to worry about sizing them. If they are small enough you can usually just drag and drop em into your post box.How do you post images on here?
No. Me putting money on a favorable outcome would guarantee a bad one. But until Prince's siblings prove otherwise, I can say gee, they're just as sensible as my siblings and I were when my Dad died. Sure, the amount of money is not comparable, but I've seen families go to war over less.Wanna bet?![]()
Anything is possible, and I don't discount that you might favor the type of vaping that you've had more experience with. Is it possible for you try the two side by side with the same joose in each?Anyone know why I can't taste the flavor of the vape juice on a 1.2 coil. It's producing, but again, non adjustable. Have I just become used to sub ohm coils from using the edge?
The way I upload pictures is just to drag them into the response box, without using the image icon. Others have suggested that too... it seems too simple to work but it works, unless the file is too large.I'm using an iPad which stores everything on my camera roll, but if I hit the image icon on here, it asks for a URL?
