Check Amazon. You can download the free Kindle for Android app there & see if they have The Bible free on Amazon to download. I think MAYBE you can read offline.

That's a great idea to use Kindle! I have checked Amazon for an app, I just can't find the translation I want. I downloaded the app from Olivetree, which I used successfully years ago on an old Palm Pilot, but it keeps crashing...grrrr! I just want one with all the bells and whistles that I can use offline. I have some awesome Bible software on my laptop, but can't really afford it for the tablet. Things keep adding up for this trip...I paid around $350 just for my shots. Ouch!

Semi~ I never used a microwave/convection oven, but my brother uses a convection oven and loves it! He cooks his Thanksgiving turkey in about 1.5-2 hours and it is fabulous! He found a recipe years ago where he cuts up the turkey before he roasts it. I know, I know, it sounds bizarre, but it really is delicious!!!

lol perhaps. There have been many things over the years that I didn't know what someone was talking about. If it was important, I'd look it up, if that didn't work I'd ask. Then ask again when I'd forgotten......then a couple more times til I finally remembered lol Don't expect everyone to type everything out every time. lol

I'd heard about this some time back.....don't know if it was him or another person.......ought be criminal what they're doing to him

Many of the locals say that he is stealing their water. Since he is storing it up for drought conditions, they saucy that it does not exist as runoff, and contributes to drought conditions.

Sort of reminds me of the lady who complained of daylight savings because it caused the sun to rise earlier and therefore make summer hotter.

Wow, a lot of early risers this morning.

GMA (Good Morning America) had a segment on ecigs. Started out talking about the explosions and showing a few incidents where they were captured. All that popped into my mind was - not again... Then they went to a vape shop and started discussing proper charging and how ecigs had to be used properly with the proper charger. While a lot of people will only remember the exploding part - it was informative and ended with the right message...

Good morning, Semi! Good for GMA! In spite of all the negative info, there really is some good info getting out. Plus, the more vaping spreads, the more people know what a life-saver it is.

They even showed a LIPO bag and explained its use and how a lot of people buy them, but do not use them because it is a hassle - then they explained about hindsight is better than foresight...

G'morning, DH!

I have some extra time today so will be figuring out how to d/l PMs to my docs.

Gracie, all you have to do is click on the little box at the top of each page of your Inbox or Sent Messages, then use the pull-down menu on the bottom right of the last page to choose what to do with all the messages you just marked (Download as txt, csv, or xml).

For example, I had 7 pages of messages in my Inbox. So, I clicked that little box at the top of each of the 7 pages to mark all the messages. Then I chose to download. And, then I did the same thing to all 8 pages of messages in my Sent Messages.

Fast and easy.

Yep, it sure was easy, DH........I didn't do the csv, though, just txt and xml!

I guess we're ready for the big changeover now! I'm really looking forward to it. The internet on my phone is a lot faster than our house internet. But, ECF is way too difficult to navigate on my phone.

I saved all my messages as text because I clean them out regularly in categories but download to Notepad and give them a name that refers to that group of messages (like who I was messaging with) so if I need to refer back to something it is not hard to find.

That's a great idea. I may just try that.

G'morning, DH!

I guess I'd better do the same.

If you are interested in saving all of your PMs (both sent and received) on your computer in the most easily readable format, click on "Private Messages" near the top of any ECF page. Then, near the bottom of the resultant page, click "Download all private messages as: Text", then save on your computer. Takes 10 seconds. The document will display all of your sent PMs from oldest to newest, followed by all of your received PMs from oldest to newest.

I have major doubts that any of the three formats will ever be uploadable to the new Forum software in any manner that duplicates the way the messages appear in the current software. But if in doubt (and you should be because I have no certifiable expertise of this stuff), there is zero downside to doing as Iffy did, and downloading your PMs in all 3 ways: as an XML (spreadsheet) file, as a CSV (comma separated values) file and as a Text (text) file.
