That means at $25 a bottle - it would only cost me about $3,600 to make my yard green - not going to happen...
You don't need to do the whole back 40 you know. Plant some kudzu, won't ever have to worry about green again but, keep a blow torch handy to control it. I've seen kudzu grow 3 or 4 feet in a day. Buddy had a hunting travel trailer out in the woods and lost it over about a months time. Literally was completely covered to the point of not being able to see it.

With a couple of bottles of grass paint and a garden sprayer, you can paint your lawn yourself. A 16-ounce bottle of concentrated grass paint ($25) will cover 300 square feet. Mix with water and spray. For best results:"

Lawn Paint Keeps Grass Green | Lawn Spraying | Lawn Maintenance Tips
If I stretch it a little further than the recommended coverage I can paint my weeds for $10K. I have about 3 acres that I cut once in a while.

Assuming you mean Canadian Dollars - that means you are paying about $4.80 a gallon in US dollars...
I think you did the conversion in the wrong direction. I get $3.21 US per US gallon. The favorable conversion rate helped me out with my hotel reservations in Montreal for my niece's wedding this summer.

Believe me, rye is in the plan. Gotta wait until we get a good rain and wash the Weed and Feed in first. It'll burn the new grass if you don't. Sod is really nice but it ain't gonna happen. Instant lawn.
I cursed the builder who put down winter rye (the fast-growing rye) in the yard of my newly constructed home (not the one I live in now). The stuff lives for one year and when it dies it is hard to pull out. At least, I believe that is true. Make sure the buyer doesn't have your phone number, lol!

Biggie, that's cuz the CAD $ is only worth somethin like .83 cents US.

But as far as rye... never heard of winter rye. But I don't think it dies. Just turns brown sooner than better strains. (which take a Looong time to root) I have a section of lawn done with rye and it's been there for close to 10 years. Doin' fine. If it turns brown that doesn't mean it died. And you wouldn't have to dig it up anyway. Just re-seed over it.

So you're saying the Canadian dollar is worth less than the US dollar at present? I think that was the point I was making. I think Semi applied the ratio but switched the numerator and the demonmaker.

I tried reseeding over the winter rye, and the clumps of winter rye just prevented the new stuff from taking root. I'll never plant winter rye or let anyone else plant it for me. But the builder also took off the good topsoil and sold it, leaving subsoil that was tough to grow stuff. Evidently, it was common practice at the time (1989) for builders in my area to do that but I was mad as heck about that as well. Other unpleasant memories of what that shyster did too.

So I took a pretty big loss selling that house, and bought a place in the country where there was plenty of room to bury that builder and a decent chance they'd never find him. Yes, I'm sort of kidding.

Thanks for your help. I saw posts from last October that said to put batteries (and all else) in a carry on. Looks like that hasn't changed. Robin01 also said she puts her mods on top of her purse to go through X-ray - and uses mods as battery cases. I'll bring an extra mod and put a battery in each. Think I'll also just bring an empty tank to avoid worry of leaking. I'll let y'all know if I have any issues!

~> Travel and E-Cig

Everything in carry on. (That applies in the general sense that you don't put anything in checked you can't afford to "lose" at the other end of the ride.)

But batteries specifically have to be in carry on - in a pressurized cabin. In secure cases designed to hold batteries or in devices.

Be prepared to show any electronic device works as intended. So if it's an MVP or a VV V3 make sure it's charged so you can show it functions. In other words: it's a functional e-cig and not a bomb part.

Liquids in your liquids baggy and follow the same rules for any liquids as far as bottle sizes and total quantity.

If you need cases these are a great buy at 95 cents. ~> XTAR clear battery case

Well if he took the topsoil (now that's weird!) it ain't e-z to plant grass in rocks! LOL
Yep, took the topsoil and resold it. Called it "landscaping".. a total ripoff. Oh well, live and learn, and a couple years after selling that house I bought some land and a home which arrived via tractor trailers, which I continue to love.

Summer rye is an annual. You only use it to fill in when you have an existing lawn that needs a boost. Most of my actual grass is tall fescue. Kill the weeds, fertilize the fescue and overseed with rye and it should look good in about 6 weeks which is just about the time we expect to put it on the market.

When we moved into our brand new house we raked up the garbage the builder had tossed around in the front dirt and covered with straw. Called the sanitation district and had 3" of nutragreen compost (composted poop) spread in the yard. Tilled it in to about 8" down and planted tall fescue seed. Man did that grass grow. Looked like a golf course for about 15 years. In the last 8 or 10 years the dandelions and crabgrass has moved in. I got really tired of messing with it so I just pretty much gave up. Got a guy that comes once a week and mows and weed wacks the whole place for $50 a week. Great deal cause I have a fairly large (for city living) yard. I wouldn't mow it for that.

I understand there is a lot of nothing areas in Texas. Some roads straight for miles and nothing much on them. I've never been to Texas but, maybe one of these days. Doree has been to San Antonio on business several times but, they didn't see fit to pay for the spouses to go along. Cheap bums!

OK! It's hot outside, humid too... Maybe I can wait for summertime!

Dude worked for Boeing for 27 years. When the kids were growing up, they sent him to Seattle, Chicago, Massachusetts and I believe, to Ohio once. I kept telling him...one of these days I am going with you. No one offered to pay my fare either.

Yep... Did it in my head quick instead of using a calculator - my bag...

So I guess I meant summer rye, not winter rye. Never could keep the three seasons straight.

This was American Funds, part of the Capital Group Companies. They could have afforded it, I guess they considered it business and didn't want the distraction. I understood but would have liked to go along, I had to work anyway.

I do believe in da three S's: shoot, shovel, shut up!

Dat I could live with!

My back yard (south side) is flippin' awesome with a rich loam component. Da front is sugar sand and looks like Hades during our dry periods.

At least it's not a left/right issue. Just a north/south... oh crap, never mind...

I won't mention any ball-playing Yankees because I reckon you've found them annoying in the past few days.

Moving right along, here's some baked cod pre-topped with panko, roasted garlic and lemon juice. It were good. So was the other one.

Sure wish our DL list was a bit shorter; not an excuse, just a wish! Besides, I still haven't found a sunflower seed joose... although, I think I may not want to!
