Not that the post office is a monopoly now but, for years they were. The government is very slow to change ways and in a business situation it really shows. I know they "privatized" the PO years ago but, like everything else the government does there is a really big "not really" attached to it.

CRAP! No audio again. My neckloop is working. My USB port is working. All my settings in hangout are ok, as well as on my computer. It must be the plugin sound-card. I know Iffy is busy IRL right now, so I guess I will have to go back to phone relay. With the neckloop, the sound quality will be better, I think, plus I won't have to hold the phone up to my ear.

Sea hope Captain feels better. It is so hard when pets get old. You want them as long as you can have them and as comfortable as possible.

Family situations like yours have to be stressful. People who are nonexistent until they want something. Sounds like you have your priorities straight.

Well here is the BS law for Washington State. More or less 60% tax on anything vapor related, right to search and seize any products tax not paid on. They vote on it Monday.

It will take effect Oct 1 and you can bet it will pass it is about 50 pages long if you would like to read it. Guess I'm going to stock up a little more then I will have to depend on friends cause I'll be damned if I am going to pay $320 for a $200 mod.

The reason I say it will pass is it is a democratic law and we have a democratic senate and house and governor.

I am really p'd about the USPS my first package left PA 6 days ago and the second went to MA and thats all the further it got. I wonder who the f is minding the store. Maybe it won't pass because of all the BS written into the law they don't have room in the jails plus the will have to train vape sniffing dogs. It'll be just like it used to be with the evil herb. Lock your doors and close your blinds. This law I got through the first 10 pages of 50 or so and they are pretty much making it just like drugs if the tax isn't paid on it.

Family issues ..... Some people!!!

So sad that not only having to deal with the loss - you have to deal with those that care more about causing more pain. Been there with my husbands family when his step father passed - so not fun.

Doggie Captain, the pug, is ten years old, moping around and kinda staggering or limping. Taking him to the vet this morning to see what's going on. Just not his bright and chipper self.

Update on my friend Nancy: Her hand surgery went well yesterday, but in the last two days her foot has gotten a lot worse!

So sorry that she is not out of the woods yet. Prayers still being sent.

Can't like this at all. I keep hoping that some sanity will come about and somehow a realization that vaping will improve lives and help those still smoking - but I am probably delusional.

Here in our province they just passed the law to ban menthol in cigarettes - to protect the youth - as stated by our health minister...... I am sure they will start on e-cigarettes next like they are already doing in the east.

If the USPS was losing money, I'd agree with you, but it's still not losing money.

And, I remind you, not one red cent of your tax money goes to the USPS. The USPS continues to run, sometimes not very efficiently I'll admit, solely on revenue from postage, and US postage rates remain among the very lowest in the world.
