Hi Kenna, heading to bed here in a few minutes. Had a busy day so hopefully it's right to sleep... ZZZZzzzzzz_!That's great Matt! Hope it goes as well tonight!

Your right my friend but, based on future plans, it's going to be a long time before I am going to be bored. Hope so anyway. Busy is pretty good. Keeps my mind off of the knees and breathing and aches and pains and such and such and so on and so on.... Wasn't there a song like that?Matt, you do know that when you are finally finished and all moved - you will then be bored (LOL)... When you get used to being busy every day and it finally slows down - you relax - but if nothing else steps in to take its place - you get bored. A good bored, but still bored. Then you gotta go fishing, camping, walking on the beach, having friends and family over for coffee, going out to dinner, etc. to keep busy...

Newp.....threw out a lot of stuff when I moved, but even then, didn't have vintage clothes I was saving. However, gotta say, would love to at least have a pic of the elephant bell hip huggers I used to wear. Bout kilt myself in them many times, when wind would blow the leg of one over my other foot when I was walkin, and knocked me off my platform clogs lol
That made me laugh. Dude got married in a leisure suit. I was wearing a light blue mini dress. I tell my kids if they ever get too full of themselves, just remember their parents got married in polyester. They cannot believe the things we wore in the '70's.
It was a beautiful day here as well Mike. However most of my work was indoors. Got the backsplash in the kitchen sealed and the outlets replaced and reinstalled in the walls. To top it all off, Doree found out what went bang in the night last night. The kid was moving the last of her stuff out of her room and apparently didn't close the window properly when she left and the wind blew it open. Broke out of the frame at the top where you release the clips for cleaning. Found it smashed this evening with glass all over the floor. Going to have to take it to the glass shop tomorrow and see if it can be repaired. It's a dual pain low e glass and this model hasn't been, are in 20 years. I don't know what I'm going to do if they can't fix it.
A girl in our parish was in an accident, head injuries, and today her heart stopped-- they had trouble bringing her back. They are talking about organ donation. All your prayers are appreciated.
Yeh Semi, I sure hope so. Tomorrow is sealing the tile and grout in the shower and as soon as it dries (2 or 3 hours) I'm installing a recessed ceiling fixture (rated for showers) tied into a new ceiling exhaust fan. That way it comes on when the fan is on. After that I need to finish a couple of spots on the floor and the hallway (small) at the top of the stairs. After that it's load the POD with most of what we own so we can paint and recarpet the 3 bedrooms then, we will be DONE! Moving time!! Probably mid-July.
Polyester? I got married in 1971 wearing a black Nuke Disco tee shirt and bluejeans complete with chain belt and engineers boots. The old lady, as I called her, all of 18 years old was wearing a short jean skirt topped with a black Harley lace tank top, knee high boots and black stockings. Just so you know, our four month old daughter was present along with several bikers for witness. The JP was also a biker that did all the weddings for the local biker community then played in the band for the drunken reception that most did not even remember attending the next day.
My father let me ride to our honeymoon on his old panhead and later in the week presented it to me as a wedding gift. I rode that bike on and off until 1999 when I traded it to the local Harley dealer for a new Night Train. The dealer had minor work and a new paint job put on it and used it for a display until he died and the door were closed a couple years ago. Sure wish I could find out what happened to that bike. It lasted a lot longer than the marriage.
We can make it 1984 .... it's rare I get a chuckle, but you can do it .. and how did you know about the Dutch thing .. ??
Always. I'll slow down if you really want me to. Still has to be done, tired or not. Figure if I tire myself out sleep has to come.Good luck with getting that repaired Matt. We had to replace 1/2 of a double wooden sliding door. And it was 20+ years old. Thank goodness, the dealer was able to find some new old stock that matched.
Prayers on the way.
Yikes Matt, for a guy that has trouble sleeping you seem to have a lot of energy getting all these projects completed. You're making me look bad - I though you were my friend.

And here I sit. Vaping and reading... I guess I just have a boring life. Just the way I like it.

I wanted a pair of those jeans sooooo bad! But at 5' 9 1/2" I could seldom find any pants long enough, even wearing flats. I was lucky to find any that hit below my ankle. They didn't have women's sizes in talls back then. My mother tells me I'm legs from the shoulders down. They are a little easier to find now, in jeans anyway.Newp.....threw out a lot of stuff when I moved, but even then, didn't have vintage clothes I was saving.
