Fran, that had to be aggravating......will you set the hummer feeders elsewhere?
Well we discussed it some (Wolf too) and have come to the conclusion that hangouts is it for now. The voting is in and Skype is a pain in the pooter and everything else costs money so he we are and I'm OK with that.Yipes, yeah, bear bait isn't good. Don't want em bein drawn to the house anymore than they may already be.
Hehehe dunno if it's true, but years ago a male friend of mine told me he'd gotten a Mother's day card from his ex.......said happy mother's day to a real mother.
It certainly wouldn't hurt for folks to be on the lookout, but whenever I've been there, which is most every day, we've only hit 10 people twice, and that was very briefly. I have meant to, but keep forgetting to check the thread when I'm in there to see if anyone posted that they would like to join. We need to make sure that folks from other countries can do it for free as well as the US. Was great talkin to Wolf!! He and I talked for a long time after everyone left.
"Deb's Place"
I am avoiding it tonight because the season finale of Doree's favorite show is on and my being so loud interferes with her viewing pleasure. In case your wondering it "Once Upon a Time" and if you haven't seen it, it's really well written and acted. However, I thinks you should go back to the beginning and stream all the earlier episodes before jumping into the new season this fall. I would be really disappointed if it's not renewed.I had plans on going in the chat tonight, but I'm so dang tired again, so hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to join you guys!
Now all we need is fresh peanuts and some beer and we would be set...
We didn't even see the bear as he snuck in over night. Knocked a planter off my deck rail and made a mess in general.Top of the Evening Fran. Glad the bears didn't cause anything g worse than a little ruckus and a scare. It would scare me too.
Depends if you live in the woods or not. We do and there are bears here.Where's the best place to put a Hummingbird feeder?
We don't live in the woods. We live on a river. Haven't ever had a Hummingbird feeder before, and am interested to know where it's best situated (assuming no bears about which to worry!).Depends if you live in the woods or not. We do and there are bears here.
kewl!! I could see that one. Said it was LaVerne CaliforniaBTW - here's a live cam of a hummingbird nest w/ 2 little ones. I don't know the actual location but it's still daylight there now and you can see them.
Neither did I. I really wasn't sure if anyone would want to do it. So glad everyone is enjoying it! I'm lovin it!I had no idea it was going to turn out like it has.
Great show, I'm dvr'ing it. We didn't start watching when it first came on..... but we did watch it all on netflix, then have watched the last few seasons on TV when they come on. Great show!"Once Upon a Time"
Birdie, I've just always put one out in a spot that I could see it easily. Looking through a kitchen window, or from the back deck if I had one........if there are any around, they always seem to find it. Doodles, do the birds prefer it to be up high or nearer the ground? Hummingbirds are pretty skittish, aren't they?Birdie, I've just always put one out in a spot that I could see it easily.
