Mornin' ya old coots!!!:D

Scot! Tukii gave birth in the middle of the night...under my bed.... don't know how many yet as she's at the front right in the center and surrounded by bags of stuff....

I never heard a thing...what a considerate cat:)
Told you it was going to be under the bed. We should of started a betting pool on location, date, time and number of kittens. Speaking of, how many kittens?:banana:

Johnny, based on your story on this it could truly be fortuitous if the owner does not come forward and you decide to keep .. it's an uncanny story so far with Kismet seemingly in play, at least so far .. I'm going to tread as lightly as I can on what I say next .. the timbre of your voice, the look you get, the general vibe that translates even thru the miles that separate us when you speak of Patty, it is heartwarming, emotional, sad, optimistic, thankful, and heart wrenching all at the same time ..

If Kismet deals you a canine companion that can help a little with what I know you are going thru emotionally, then it's cause for at least a large spoonful of Happiness ..

On a side note .. without a doubt, I know last night I ruffled a few feathers with some of the comments I made .. and yes, I do sometimes cuss like a Sailor .. it just happens .. I try and mind my P's a Q's, but, I'm the same way in person .. so to the Girls that were on last night, if I offended you in any way, my apology .. to the guys, tough $#!& .. ;)

Oops.....what did I miss by sleeping yesterday evening? You've just expressed yourself so beautifully to Iffy......

Don't know about the other ladies...but I've only told people about a zillion times.....when I started out working in the casinos, I wouldn't have said poop if I had a mouthful, and now....if I'm not careful.....I could make a sailor blush...

In defense of myself, many, many years of working around folks that will only eat the Green M&M's tended to sway my natural speech patterns .. ;)

Just wanted to say "Hello" to everyone. I have not been feeling very well lately but hope to be back to my normal self soon. Well, close to normal maybe.

As soon as I get to feeling better and my son finally moves out, I have some intense late spring cleaning to do. Looks like I'm going to have to box him up and help him. He's been at the beach all week and comes home today. I will admit I have missed him. Heck, I don't understand why he didn't invite me. The beach seems to cure whatever ails you. Been a long time since I've seen it.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Hugs2all.

Hi Matt! Been a busy day, just got here. Tukii has only one kitty as the only other one was very large and dead, in my closet. That explains the blood trails all over the apartment. I was freaking out!!!

But momma and baby are snuggled in under my bed and Tukii seems just fine. A couple of friends and a neighbor with a 4 yr. old came over and each of them had a turn at laying on the floor at the side of the bed while i had the flashlight turned on for them to see Tukii and the kitten. Tukii came meandering out to greet each of them in turn! And she hasn't moved the baby to a different place. I put three small shallow bowls with water, dry food and wet food on the floor at the edge of the bed so she wouldn't have to go too far for sustenance.

I'm going to keep the baby for company for Tukii. And really glad that there wasn't more that i'd have to try to find homes for!

It was a young cat and her first litter so a still birth is not too unusual. Sorry to hear it though.

OK, seriously folk, I just got tossed headfirst into the Twilight Zone!

Day-um, this is really surreal in my experiences... why am I still crying?

Wow Iffy, that surely has to have your heart thump'n. It sounds like she's been cared for so she belongs somewhere! It also sounds like you really need another ginger!

Awww! Isn't that wonderful! Brings back memories of the birth of 2 litters in our bedroom. That's so nice that you're keeping the kitten. After we lost our dog we decided to get a cat again and then decided to get 2 to keep each other company and it's worked out great. You know we're gonna need a picture now! Well, maybe wait a few weeks...
