:wub::wub: I don't see a printer in my future, but I would love one! Or two or...

Funny, I don't really need hardware in prep for what may be coming, but I have broken a few fave drip tips so I seem to be drip tip paranoid at the present time. It's soo cute!

Sorry, I know I should have been doing such and such, but I saw a squirrel! (spelling not accounted for at this late hour).

Hey, it's a mouthpiece for vaping, so it's on topic... and the printer is very inexpensive (see the back porch).

Seems like everything is a pain around here these days.

Haven't been able to get out of the driveway for a week!

At least I'm not running low on vape supplies.
they'd just have to g'head and shoot me if I lived in that. I lived in similar many many years ago, but just don't think I could do it now.

    thankfully none medical!
(((((((((((bubba)))))))) very glad to hear that. hope other RL stuff calms down for ya.

No, NETs and WTA are distinctly different. NETs is basically just extracting the 'flavor' from the tobaco leaves then mixing it w/ nicotine. The NET process doesn't extract nicotine to any appreciable amount.

The WTA process extracts the minor alkaloids (google MAOIs) hence the name whole tobacco alkaloids Then mixed with nicotine and your favorite flavor. Some research points to the MAIOs being the major 'addictive' factor for some smokers. For these folks nicotine only does not satisfy their craving.
interesting. To my simple mind, I just imagine soaking tobacco in something, and whatever is in the leaf comes out into the liquid. I am sure it's far more complicated, well at least for the WTAs. I imagine the nets are pretty close to that.

Welcome back, Deb! I hope you feel better soon! We miss you!
    thanks darlin! Miss y'all too.

Constant pain is such a hard thing to deal with. Even the medicine to alleviate the pain can be a challenge. But, you obviously don't let it steal all the joy from your life. Good on you, Deb.
thanks hun. Not most of the time, but once in awhile I lose my sense of humor about it for awhile. :D

Nah. One of the benefits of vaping is that I DON'T have to go outside!
JUP! But then, I'm like Gary, I never went outside to smoke either, well cept for at work or places ya had to.

Got a few bottom caps I ordered from ProVape. For S & Gs, I ordered two bumperstickers to see how many they'd send. 53. You guys having another Odyssey this summer? I got party favors. :D

flavor never was the kicker for me. I had to go back up to 24mg nic before I quit having bad cravings. there were a lot of flavors I liked, but I needed that higher nic.

Jup this too. Was hard getting enough TH.

or just find recipes from other folks who are really good at it! :D

    JUP!

I have never really noticed any change in smell or taste coming back

I know what NET and WTA stand for.......but I've never really known the diff between the two. If you're using whole tobacco to make a net, it would seem that they would be very similar. Are they?

I'm not a cat person......but that's adorable! have seen ya on the porches before, but will welcome ya back.

don't envy you moving at all. That is a rough job.

    yay!!!

oh wow.....so glad y'alls guardian angels were on double duty!

uhmmmmmm didn't we just discuss you and no more injuries?????

she is. Been in a lot of pain and it's made me somewhat anti social. Sorry I worried ya.

((((((xx)))))))) good to see ya sweetie. You can hang out anytime.

kewl beans! It's a really great scale. I haven't done a lot of mixing by weight, but mostly cuz I need to get some more squeezy bottles. No sense doing it by weight if I have to use a syringe to deposit the liquids into the bottles.

Well, at least I didn't crack my head again. My point was, how klutzy can you get that you tweek your wrist cleaning a little plastic hummer feeder? Compared to what you, Kenna and some others go through, it's nothing. I really hope it passes quickly for you.

Some time back people here were talking about using those plastic catsup bottles. I saw one in Portland last time I was there and got it. OMG, even in the dead of winter it's easy to squeeze the right amount of VG (I eyeball it in 120ml Boston Round). If you aren't using one for weight measurement, you're causing yourself undue aggravation. No more syringing up VG for me.

@Debadoo hey there Hon. Life is good. Are you well

I suppose i should keep this to vaping. Hubby's new birthday toy

Nice! And so are those wooden bowls.

First off, a warm Florida welcome to our newest porchers! Just string up sum hammocks from da rafters if ya have a cushion phobia.
Yepper, I got to wear my shorts and sandals Christmas day (84°F)...

Been busy phluphphin' cushions fer all our new porchers. Also handlin' a small avalanche of RL issues; thankfully none medical!

Vaping wise, think I'm nearin' da point where I'll need sum mo' 18650 batts. Several of my ol' ones aren't lastin' as long. Can't complain in dat they're several years old.

You and those cushions, never a dull moment.

RL? o_O I'm grateful it's just a PITA and not health related. You hang in there, always thinking of you and yours.

Got some new batteries during RTD's last sale. I knew my old ones were kinda going south but OMG, when I used/charged the new ones it became quite clear how bad my old ones had become. Kinda scary actually.

Excellent description. Now that you've said it, it jogged my memory. Hope it sticks this time. Thank you for taking the time to explain it. :)

You paint a very bleak picture. And a very sad one.

I remember you telling us about the bats accompanying you on your walks. So sorry!

I so miss being in the country and seeing the stars!

Hot sunny day with no wind?! Scary! But, glad he wasn't hurt.

Can you just use your other arm for now?

Is this the first time you've been here? I see you in so many other threads that I didn't realize.

    Welcome, welcome, welcome!

Then a day of rest! So you have energy to go crazy with mixing your goodies!

I hope some of the bats come back next spring. They eat the moths and the moths disappeared with the trees. Who knew they were that dependent on them? I'm pretty sure is was @Kaezziel that said he's fed dried mealworms to bats. I have buckets of them now and no bats to give them to.

My other hand is my mouse hand! Seriously, I can't work the mouse with my left hand. Have been switching hands when the right one isn't busy with something else. Amazing how heavy the ProVari bottom cap is when things aren't right. Thinking of getting a P3 Ti cap and switching out the sping for those special times.

Balmy 23 degrees here, wanna go have a vape out on the back porch??
    P1000875_zpsfeel7drv.jpg

Have to vape with gloves on tho'

Just don't set your mod down on the table. You'll lose it until the spring thaw. How are the "kids" handling it? El hacko would kill to have a crack at that much snow.

Constant pain is such a hard thing to deal with. Even the medicine to alleviate the pain can be a challenge. But, you obviously don't let it steal all the joy from your life. Good on you, Deb.

My mother has almost constant pain in her eyes. She sleeping about 18 hours a day because of it, refuses pain meds. I've had bad injuries and don't understand how people can deal with that amount of pain over an extended period of time. You'd think by now they'd have developed something that wasn't addictive and relieved to pain without making someone loopy. Sounds kinda like a cure for smoking addiction doesn't it? Then again, BP would have to develop it and the FDA approve it. BP didn't create vaping but they have hit the gravy train with pain meds lately. :grr:

Okay, that sucks. I'm still kinda out of the loop with these old timers ;).

Thanks NotSo. I feel pretty triumphant. I'm at least half as old as ECF :thumb:.

I'm sure it's beautiful, otherwise, you wouldn't live there.

I just brewed a clone ale named after your mountains, though, I know the real thing is actually brewed in Chico. California can be tough, I lived in SF for several years; even during the BIG ONE.

The flamingo made me think you lived way closer.

    Stay safe. LU Tutu!

Most of us never thought is was that pretty here but it's close to places that are. :)

    swinging-bridge-yosemite-falls-1000w.jpg

The NPS has now banned vaping though. Dumb move.

The attraction is it's rural, close to gorgeous places and the local wildlife.

When I joined ECF, all the names I tried to use had already been taken. Got frustrated, looked up, saw an old wooden flamingo with a tiny xmas wreath around its neck that looked like a tutu. Been stuck with the name ever since.

    Uh, in 1906?? :w00t:

Oct. 17, 1989, right before the 3rd game of the World Series in SF, a 6.9 earthquake hit. Loma Priteta Earthquake. Caused a lot of damage and 63 deaths. Smoked a lot of cigs waiting to find out why the TV coverage abruptly cut out, not at all what we expected. . It was a horrible tragedy.

I have two Herakles Plus that I use on RX200s. I had one that I had another flavor in and the flavor got a bit too strong. I cleaned it with alcohol and rinsed by flushing with hot tap water. I put a new coil in it and loaded it with my ADV. Two of the same tanks on two of the same mods using Ni200 coils. The one that I had rinsed still had a strong flavor and I finally got fed up with it. I took it in and ran a sink of hot water and Dawn dishwashing liquid. I disassembled the tank and scrubbed all of the parts & the coil. I then rinsed all of the parts in hot water. I just finished reassembling the tank and filled with my ADV. Ahh, there is the flavor I was looking for. Lesson learned, wash my tanks with Dawn and make sure they are rinsed properly. The alcohol is ok for a quick clean but when changing flavors use soap.

:p Thank you. He has graduated from drip tips and vape trays to bowls platters and sushi trays.

He is loving the tarot nano and now wants all the other colours.

Those must have been some drip tips and trays!

He should be glad he wasn't there for that Big One.

Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you! I have some tanks just sitting because of that problem. You can't taste the Dawn afterwards? Husband washed a favorite water bottle of mine, didn't rinse all the soap out. Never could get the soap taste out of it and had to toss it. The concern is the gaskets on the tanks. Guess it's worth a try since I'm not using them anyway.

I love driptips and have to say I was a bit of an addict for the fancy ones. So rather than spend a fortune on finding just the right ones for all my Billet Boxes I convinced him to make them and matching buttons for me. Words like It will be good practice for you LOL Now I have all the colours i want in the size and shape I love. I created my own little driptip empire. :p

I made sure that I rinsed them well in hot water. I don't notice any aftertaste of the soap.
