Goes to show you how much I understand about batteries. When I joined ECF I read everything Mooch wrote, read all posts about safety and bats and I buy only AW IMRs because hubby says so (he used to be a fire-fighter) and all my mods also have built-in protection. He tried to explain to me how all this works (ohms, resistance, electricity, etc) but he quit trying when I got that glazed look (that's what he said!)
The batteries Kenna is referring to are flat-tops. The AW IMRs are button-top. So, it depends on whether your mod requires flat or button top batteries. That's all.

The most famous mod that requires button-top is the Provari 2.5.

I know the glazed look! And my eyes roll back in my head! I know what ohms I build. I vape at 14. To 14.5 watts. And I get 30 amp 3000mah batts. I know that's safe.

I have both. My P. minis require button tops and my picos require flat tops. All are AW IMRs. I'm safe :)

Batts are one reason I never went with anything requiring a button top. I just wanted one kind of battery to go in what ever mod I happened to grab. I'm a real KISS type person. I have my KF's, Hex Ohms, iSticks, a Reo & a few toppers for it. Same batts fit all of them.

My first mod required a 14500 (back in the days before IMR batteries). Only the mods I've bought in the last year or so take flat-top IMRs.

I'm not getting rid of my older mods! So, I'm stuck with a variety of batteries. For now.

Same here. I know the REOs take button tops, but mine work fine with flat tops. I don't want to stock 2 types of batteries.

Here is a question that I have seen asked before and have even seen answered. I cannot remember the answer and someone is asking me.
Aprox how much nicotine is in a cigarette? Lets say Marlboro lights. If one used to smoke a pack a day how much nic were they consuming compared to now if they vape 4mls a day of 12mg.

Google is my friend. Just read one answer that said approx 1mg per cigarette..
Haha I did google it and got several answers but mostly I got this one:
Cigarettes contain anywhere from 8 mg of nicotine up to 20 mg of nicotine. Most cigarettes are at the lower end of the spectrum, which puts the average amount on nicotine in one cigarette at 12 mg. While the total amount of nicotine in a cigarette may vary, the amount that you actually absorb is relatively constant.Mar 18, 2015

But how much is absorbed, then. Isn't that the key value? And how much is absorbed from vaping? (I wouldn't expect to find testing of all possible nic %... ;) )

(best I could come up with for a driver emoticon). Who are the Falcons?
here ya go, just a few from my stash.

and the falcons are the ones that are gonna beat the pats in the Super Bowl of course!!!! :D

Ok I'm confused (which is really easy actually). I always thought the best bats are the AW IMRs in red. And that they are the best because they are AWs and protected.
They are a safer chemistry batts and are one of the best out there. Protected batts need to be protected cuz they are somewhat unsafe.

Thanks for emoticons. I taught customer service for a company here in the OKC metro. The folks in my classes couldn't believe I wasn't a fan of the OU Sooners football team. They couldn't understand that I preferred individual sports and not team sports. I never was a team sports fan. I used to watch the Superbowl just for the commercials, now that I can see them online I don't watch it anymore. I will watch something I have recorded and enjoy my ADV. Might even play one of my PS4 games and vape while it resets after I loose.
