As always, I am going to believe the best. Maybe they wanted to see me prove that I have an anxiety disorder. LOL. That I did. There is one person here who is a witch-hunter, but I think they know that.
Sorrry that happened, 3mg. I hope you got through to them. If yhe witch hunter started all of it, then maybe all they need is a counterclaim.

@Debadoo do a little research because the Tax was passed back in July and last I heard it was repealed but I am not sure if it has be voted on as yet in terms of the repeal but that tax went into effect I think.
from what I can find on HB 2342 the house finance committee passed it last month, but still needs to be voted on by the full house, then senate, then go to the pres if it passes all that

Put a decoy ingredient in each of your recipes, like mashed potato or eggs. That should confuse the NSA scanning programs. Don't encrypt them though, that would just get their attention. If you write them out by hand you could use mirror writing. Da Vinci did that and it kept the Inquisition off his back so it should work with the Feds.
Truly priceless...

Oh, wait...

I also read that article. I think the company was sense or something like that so I took it with a grain of salt. Always wonder about a company that comes out and says something bad about another company's products. If my memory is correct they reported this right before they came out with a new coil not ceramic. The last test I saw by an independent lab with no skin in the game found no problems with them plus I have wiped inside of them with a dark rag and got nothing.
Yep, grain of salt for sure, I think with vaping we all have to decide what risks we are willing to take since there are so many things that are uncertain. I'm still willing to use ceramics myself, but I understand why others might not want to.

The PA 40% floor tax has NOT been repealed. A bill to replace it was 'voted' on only by a committee to present it to PA congress. The 40% floor tax is currently in effect.

Not trying to be a jerk, but what Mike just said has been explained to you at least once before. It might even have been Mike who said it before, I don't recall. So before telling someone else to do a little research, you should do the same.

That is a Fed bill. Steve is talking about the 40% tax in PA. The committee passed it. It hasn't moved in the Senate yet.

Thanks! Siegel always has good and informed perspectives. The flip side is that if FDA did classify smoking as a disease, I think insurance companies would be hard pressed to surcharge for it - at least under current law. Cept they won't -- they'll just keep on saying that vaping doesn't help folks quit stinkies. And I'm happy to sell them a little bridge in Brooklyn.

As I said the floor tax was passed and it is waiting on voting for the repeal. So what I said was clear and in my opinion you were being a jerk. Deb questioned if the tax was passed.
No, you said it was being repealed, she said she didn't think that had been voted on yet, you responded by telling her to do research. She was right, you are wrong, period, end of story. Your continued claiming that it is being repealed is meaningless until there is a vote, and you came across as a jerk, so I responded in kind. It doesn't actually even matter if that tax does get repealed, by the time it happens, many businesses in PA will already be gone because they couldn't afford to pay it when they had to, long before the vote. The vote will happen much too late.

Some of us have done research and know what the lay of the land is, and don't appreciate people like you going around telling everyone that everything is wonderful when it isn't.

You want another example of your ignorance? You say you don't think it makes any sense that stores are closing anywhere else besides PA. Guess what? Many stores make most of their money from making juice. Guess what? Every store in Indiana that relied on that income is already closed or is closing. And once the deeming takes full affect, every store in the rest of the country that relies on that income will also close. Because they won't be able to mix juice, because they won't be able to meet the FDA's burdensome requirements. So stop spouting your "everything is sunshine" FDA propaganda, and start doing your own research.

Yes, now I am being a jerk on purpose.

Ok, that makes total sense. Sorry if I came across as an alarmist, that was not my intention. I did admit I had no proof or exact memory  o_O    Thank you for the update.

Yes, that was it! I forget the manufacturer too..

Oh yes! Backups for backups! Having been a computer tech for over 20 years, I can't tell you how many times a hard drive crashed and there was no backup. I back everything up to a flash drive at this point.

My recipes are in a big Word file, so no problem printing them and putting them in a binder.

No ignoring a valuable post Bea. All good advise even if I already know. I don't always use my own knowledge and it doesn't hurt to be reminded.
Well i sure feel foolish advising a computer tech even though i didnt know that's what you were.:sleep::blush:

Speaking of backups. I backup everything on two flash drives since they too can sometimes malfunction.

Hey Kad in my area stores are expanding and opening additional locations.

I do not appreciate you telling me what I said because I said the tax was passed and it has been repealed waiting on a vote. It always amazes me how someone not involved in the conversation decides to get involved and in the middle of a discussion between others to start arguing. Is this how you get pleasure?

You may have some information but claiming you know everything about everywhere shows how ignorant you actually are.

I hope I'm not out of line here but I'd like to ask @SteveS45 and @kad2371 to stop arguing or if they're not finished yet to continue their argument in private.

Seeing you two arguing makes me uncomfortable but if I'm out of line to suggest this please forgive me and ignore the request.

My computer tech days were many years ago. I don't even know todays technology. Heck, I have to ask my son with his current degree in IT for help!

Good point about the 2 flash drive backups. I have some photos on an old 2 gb flash drive I better refresh to a newer one. Would hate to loose them. Thanks Bea!

No foolishness here, I went to the dogs (make products for show dogs and vend) 20 (that long? Really? Yea...) years ago, so don't for a minute feel foolish please. I appreciate your advice.

I only recall ceramics being an issue when Aspire changed their wicking material from whatever they were using to a "ceramic fabric", which some claimed was fiberglass, some talked about inhaling ceramic particles, h so on. Seems I recall some rdas with ceramic on the base having a problem with the ceramic crumbling because of heat. I stopped using my Nauti's during that period because of those reports. But they've changed their wicks to cotton now.
