Question for you experienced, knowledgeable folk. I have 3 black kayfun Mini V3s (from fasttech) that will give a solid ohm reading on my 521 tab but won't register on any mod I try them on. I have checked all screws, 510 is in there firmly, but it's very frustrating. I have many silver ones that work like a charm. I even changed the 510 pin on one to no avail.
Ideas? Suggestions? Use them for spare parts?

Did you clean the contact in your mod? Even if it is dirty it should still register but will sometimes register wrong. Does it have a spring loaded 510, if not maybe it isn't touching but can't imagine that either on a KF clone, they should have a fairly long 510. Any paint on the threads? Have you used them before? Are the threads on the mad dirty. Doesn't make a lot of sense.Question for you experienced, knowledgeable folk. What kind of mod is it are you using Power or TC? Pretty strange when you are getting a reading on your 521. I have heard of painted attys occasionally getting overspray causing problems.

I've had no issues wid FT, using PP, whatsoever! Da only minor issue is da wait during their multiple holidays...
No contact, no go...
BTW, have never had 510 threads painted...

Hey I asked Adore if they have diacetyl in their custards or diketones. They said no they don't use any sweetners in their juice. Gives you a lot of confidence in a juice maker huh? I replied back it usually in the flavoring. Dumb ....
Me either have always gotten SS. I remember Kenna getting a K5 in black that had some issues. Don't remember what they were tho.

I've known about the code for awhile, MAP = Minimum Asking Price. Pretty much a permanent code from what I understand. From what I can tell, it's for some of their authentic products that the manufacturers have set prices on. The code is fasttech's way of getting around the higher price.
No paint on threads, and I have tried many different mods, from isticks, to Kangers, to, well, I have lots of mods
. Same thing, no atomizer while the ohm checker says ohms. I just use power mode. I have never succeeded in getting these 3 to work. I do have 1 black one that works fine... Very frustrating, especially since it is only the 3 black ones, none of my stainless ones. Wierd!
May just put them in the parts bin and quit frustrating myself. But I truly thank you for your input!
Just to let anyone interested know Eciggity is going to have a Black Friday sale but they are going to put it out on their FB page. Will check every day and let you know what they have. I think they will put it out in email also but who knows.
It looks like the same deck on a K5. I want one because it's a little shorter than a K5. I also got a couple of Vision spinners. Trying to cover myself for if I end up in the hospital & rehab again.

Does the 510 pin stick out a tad from the base? If not, that might be the problem.
Man this thing is slow today. Finally heard back from Adore No Diacetyl in any of their flavors.

Sure seems like the 510 pin/threads are not compatible / long enough with your mods, but does screw in far enough on the 521.
The decks are designed the same, the Prime’s is a lot smaller though.
