Congrats. It's a milestone that is almost as big as giving up the stinkies...

One could always go back to either one...but who would ever want to ???

Congratulations, Mick ! Now every day is Saturday- and it doesn't get any better than that.

I haven't used this mod, but I watched a Mike Vapes review, and checked the price at other places. The price of $29.99 is much cheaper than anywhere else, and is just enough to get free shipping. So, I thought it was worth letting you know about. Mike Vapes's only major complaint was that the mod would auto-shutoff after 15-30 minutes of being idle, and then you have to click your heels together 5 times click the power button 5 times to start it up again. However, a Google search shows that the manufacturer has reprogrammed the mod since then so that it doesn't do that. If mine comes and it's older stock that doesn't have the reprogramming, there's an update from the manufacturer that I can download and install.

One very appealing thing about the mod is the simplicity of the menu compared to the other TC-capable mods I'm using these days. This mod will be one I can operate without having to read the owner's manual.

Volcano Ecigs will offer you a 10% off code if you've never purchased from them before, but if you try to enter it, you'll be told it's invalid. I presume this is because the item is already discounted to half of the regular price.

Just got home after my last ever day at work.

Congrats...:headbang:

When I got home after my last ever day at work...I removed my wristwatch and tossed it into a drawer...(I have "mild" hoarder tendencies)...

I realized that the only reason I REALLY ever needed a wristwatch was to attempt to arrive at work somewhat close to "starting time"...

I haven't worn my watch in awhile, since the battery died. Originally I justified it by saying "my cellphone(s) have the time" but it really boils down to "I just don't really care".

Hey wasn't up to going back and see if these were ever mentioned but has anyone tried a vape pod. I'm so out of main stream I haven't really heard much about them. Anything to all the broo ha ha about them.

Didn't follow any thing about the Pod systems. I wasn't interested at all in paying 4-5 bucks for refills, which were supposed to equal 1 pack of smokes.

You've inspired me. I broke the band on my Timex this weekend. Think I'll just leave it in the drawer. Still, sort of a waste of a $16 watch, and I only used it nine years. But, what the hey, a man needs to get wild with his money once in a while.

Oh and also nic salts whats the story with that. Anyone tried it?
I don't think either topic as been discussed on the Front Porch.

I have no interest in pods. But, there's a whole forum for them here: Vape Pod Systems

I am interested in nic salts, but have been hesitating to dive in because I'm already stocked up for life with regular nicotine. Nic salts are a little more expensive than regular nicotine, but not too much. A good place to buy is Smooth Nicotine Salts

This might be a good place to start: DIY liquid-Nic salts vs USP nicotine--pros and cons

Legs, I haven't looked at anything since I got the Kayfun V5s. I am so happy with them they are all I use. Well, except for my Reo. I have two V5s and a V3 that I have in rotation. Why mess with a good thing. As far as Nic Salts, I have enough Nic in my deep freeze to last me for a few years at least.
Thanks for the links DH. Now that they are here I may browse them when I'm feeling better rested.

What, you haven't heard of Juuling? It's all the rage in high schools these days.
'Tis true. My son told me some kid was vaping a Juul IN CLASS the other day. Crazy kids
I suppose it's better than them doing a lot of other things that were done when I was in HS. But geesh - in class? Dumb chick (yeah - it was a girl, apparently)...

I must be "time-compulsive". I have clocks everywhere around the house; I insist that they are set to the correct time (those that aren't "atomic" or else self-setting via the internet); I hate being without a watch (in spite of always having my cell phone in my shirt pocket). That said, I am among the least time-bound people in the world. There is just about nothing I do that has to be done at any particular time; I even sleep at irregular hours, going to bed anywhere from 11 PM to 4 AM (although I generally wake naturally - no alarm - at between 5 and 6 AM) and napping irregularly during the day. I don't even watch TV, so I don't need to know when some particular program is starting. (I do take meds at two times of day and have alarms on my cell phone to remind me.)
